The youths and worship team from SIB Hosanna were in full warfare spirit kicking off the start of the eighth Apostolic and Prophetic Conference (AP8) on May 30, 2013 at the Kingwood Hotel, Sibu.
The powerful prophetic and apostolic event gathered some 1100 participants to the conference this year, bringing God’s people from all over Malaysia including Sibu, Kuching, Bintulu, Miri, Limbang, Sarikei, Bintangor, Kapit, Mukah, Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu, Tawau, and Sandakan. There were also participants from Brunei, Singapore, China and Hong Kong.
“Church reformation for city transformation and sustainable transformation,” Apostle Hii Mee Yieng from SIB Hosanna said in a video message to the church about the AP movement.
“God created the seven mountains and has waited for us to mature so we can take back our possessions,” said Apostle Hii, calling the church to be successful in this transformation. “Do you believe?”
Apostle Hii then introduced the speakers for the event, Apostle Greg and Julie Bailey, international directors of Christian International in Australia and New Zealand Australia. SIB Hosanna is aligned with Christian International Florida under Dr Bill Hamon.
“God brought us here to release something to you guys,” said Apostle Greg, calling the church take back the seven mountains. “We carry a breakthrough anointing where we need to be.”
“You are not here by chance. You are here by divine purpose,” he said.
“The Lord showed me, He is like a tailor measuring every person creating a new wardrobe personally made for you.” He said that some people can’t wait to receive new clothes, while others say, “I like my old clothes better” or “I don’t deserve new clothes.”
“God wants the best for His kids; God wants to have the best for you,” he said. “Don’t settle for the old,” he added, God has so much more for you.
“The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.” Genesis 3:21
The Lord garments, He clothed them. “Do you think God just whack a couple of leaves and said that will do? No way!” They are incredibly made and in perfect design. Everyone would have wanted what Adam and Eve had, asking, “What are you wearing?” They’d say, “I’m wearing God,” on the red carpet.
Who are we wearing tonight? Are we wearing God? Are we wearing Him?
“God is changing our wardrobe. He is operating us, your looks – natural and spiritual,” Apostle Greg said. “He is changing the way you see yourself and others see you.”
God has new contacts and positions for us. So we must be appropriately dressed for this. “This is exciting,” he declared, as part of his message opening night. Apostle Greg Bailey and his wife Apostle Julie continued to impart the anointing of apostolic and prophetic movement throughout the conference.
The SIB Hosanna youth team, Daniel Youth performed “Take back”, their theme song for the conference, one of the seven songs the team wrote and performed for AP8.
The conference is conducted in Chinese with English translation. AP8 was held from May 30 – June 2, 2013 at the Kingwood Hotel, Sibu.
