Revel in God’s Glory this Upcoming August: REVEL National, 7th-8th August 2026

There is no stopping God’s divine appointment for men in the fulfilment of His will over a nation. Throughout history, God has chosen diverse individuals from hesitant farmers to mighty royals to lead, unite or to save nations. While many of the most recognizable examples come from biblical history, missionaries in the 20^th century too heeded the call, to a nation called “Malaya” presumably where people lived on trees as perceived back then.

Yet, the importance of communal with the Almighty saw the earliest Church established in 1511 in Malacca, Penang in 1786 and into the nineteen hundreds, a small little town called Sitiawan in 1905 where Pioneer Methodist Church was built. Into the 1930s began experiencing a spiritual awakening that matured into a revival that impacted a whole generation of youth going into full-time ministry.

As the prominent move of God in Sitiawan to the East Malaysian Bario and Ba’Kelalan Revivals in the 1970s are proof of divine evidences, God has always included His people in the processes from Genesis up till today in shared dividends. Every missionary sent across the globe, in obedience helped birth a starting point. As missionaries came and left, to the raising of locals in leadership taking their place, it depicts a relay run with the baton being passed from one runner to the next.

Revel National is where this baton has been handed upon, to those of us who will now answer the call to run the next leg. A 33-hour marathon in Worship and Prayer in Shekinah Methodist Church, Sitiawan.

An appointment that awaits us, a taking up in ownership, of a God who has His eyes upon Malaysia to whom He too is gathering His people. Let God’s will be done through you and I as the opening scripture states, so that His good purpose prevails in our beloved nation Malaysia.

Over the course of 33 hours, 27 worship teams from all 14 states across Malaysia in partnership with local churches in Sitiawan will harness the flow in Worship & Prayer.

On top of that, a special children’s program called Revel Kids in the Children’s hall is scheduled from 9.00am to 12.00pm to enable young hearts and mind into intimacy through worship and teachings apart from the fun activities planned.

Worship through Art is designated for the creative flow within, expressed unto canvases prophetically over the entire 33-hour duration. A self-sufficient arrangement of mix mediums and materials where painters paint alongside other artistic expressions in dance.
