WHEN GODLY WISDOM IS REJECTED YOU ARE HEADING FOR TROUBLE

"Do you look at things according to the outward appearance? — 2 Corinthians 10:7 NKJV

Before the ship Titanic sank to the bottom of the sea, we are given to understand that there were several warning signals sent out to the ship regarding the danger of icebergs. Despite this warnings,the captain of the ship said "Even God could not sink this ship" the reason why the captain expressed such a statement was that for the first time in his life he saw such a magnificent huge creation of mankind and he became so impressed by what he saw. He was simply carried away by the appearance. Never underestimate that appearance can be a deceptive tool of the enemy. I WILL DESTROY THE WISDOM OF THE WISE, AND THE CLEVERNESS OF THE CLEVER I WILL SET ASIDE." 1Cor 1:19

Proverbs 18:12 Be careful of what you say, for you will eat what you say later. For life and death are in the power of the tongue.

What was the problem there? You know what? Man have become so "over intellectualized" that so often they fail miserably, simply because they have excluded God in their lives. "There is a way that seems right to a man but at the end it leads to death" Proverbs 16:25

MANS SYSTEM HAS ALWAYS FAILED HIM

What the captain and the crew saw and depended upon was what appeared above the surface (the outward appearance). Would you believe experts like them trained and experienced over the years and yet can become so foolish as not being able to recognize the hidden danger of icebergs below the water. They were totally mesmerized in seeing only 10% of the iceberg and the 90% that was below the water hidden which was immensely dangerous, yet they never rang the bell, and so was the disaster.

MANS WISDOM IS LIMITED GODS WISDOM IS UNLIMITED

What is God telling you from this iceberg experience that sank the Titanic? Listen, the 10% of the iceberg that you see above the water represents only your canal mind, your five senses, your head knowledge and your intelligence that so often disappointments us. The 90% below the water represents your spirit, your anointing, the Holy Spirit in you.. It is what that is below the water that will ultimately sink your ship! Listen! When you minus God in your life, you will only operate in the 10%. Your wisdom is limited.

Prov. 28:26 says the fool depends on his own understanding

WISDOM OF GOD WILL SUSTAIN YOU IN YOUR CRITICAL MOMENTS

WISDOM of God produces life. In your crucial moments of your life it is the God given wisdom that is going to see you through. This wisdom will produce a godly character that will uphold your integrity and it is this character that will not compromise your values and belief. The world is full of intellectuals and wealthy individuals with a capitalist mind-set that is out to ruthlessly exploit every opportunity because they lack this character of God.

A BORN-AGAIN SPIRIT IS A SUPER NATURAL EMPOWERMENT

The 90% of your life is hidden through the born again spirit of God in you. When you do not have this anointing of the Holy Spirit dwelling in you and controlling your life, you are just like a ship sailing in the open sea without a rudder. But on the other hand when you are operating in the anointing of God, no matter what the storms that you are going through! No matter how great the iceberg that you are going through, you will sail through and your ship will not sink!

You know what? Your discernment is fueled by the gift of the Holy Spirit in you. It is not dependent on what you see above the waters. Because what you see above the water is limited and what you see by faith through the Holy Spirit is eternal.

'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty. — Zechariah.4:6
