The Word This Week – YOUR JOURNEY WITH GOD WILL ALWAYS BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PROCESS

A PROCESS IS NOT TO DESTROY YOU BUT TO BUILD YOU UP, to take you to a higher level. To make you productive in the kingdom of God.

Do not be afraid of making mistakes in this journey! Do not fear about bad choices and decisions that you have made in this journey. You know what?  You can never win a victory until you risk a failure. Besides, God can use your bad decisions and mistakes to develop and mature you.  And God can even turn it around for good.  You may be going through a crisis right now. But you know what? God can use a crisis in your life to bring about a change, a transformation.

Listen! Some of your greatest breakthroughs will come in the darkest moments of your life. Don’t allow where you are right now to determine who you are.

Don’t allow your condition to be your conclusion. God has not finished with you yet. You best days are ahead of you. You haven’t seen the best moments yet!

There is never going to be a promotion until you go through a test. Before you can be trusted with power and anointing, you will be tested with pain.

HOWEVER, DO NOT LET YOUR GOING THROUGH STOP YOUR GOING TO.

DO NOT LET YOUR PROCESS STOP YOU FROM REACHING YOUR DESTINY.

Here is a key for you: Remember, God always changes you before He changes the circumstances around you. Many times we have misunderstood God’s ways. And we pray and beg God to change our circumstances instead of asking God to change us. We forget that our success or failure is not dependent on the circumstances out there. Our success is dependent on changing our own mindset.

YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH A TRANSFORMATION IN THE PROCESS.

ONLY YOU CAN MAKE THE DECISION TO GO THROUGH IT.

The process brings you to a greater revelation, to a higher level of understanding and higher level of maturity and commitment in your life.

1 Kings 19:19 : When the prophet  Elijah knew his ministry was coming to an end and God was going to take him up, he was passing by Elisha and he threw his mantel on Elisha. He didn’t say a word to him. It was understood that he was passing the baton to him to take over the call of God.

You remember Elisha was just working on his oxen in the field. As soon as he received the call, he went back, slaughtered his oxen and burned up even the equipment that was used to work with the oxen.

Have you ever question yourself why did he do that?  Here is a principle you need to pick up. The reason why he burnt the equipment and all that he was working with was that he did not want to look back. He did not want to go back to the old life. Therefore he wanted to destroy everything in the old life so that he can fully trust in God to move forward in his call.

Luke 9:62 And Jesus said unto him, “No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

My question to you today is what do you need to slaughter and burn up that you have been relying upon for so long, so that you can follow God with your whole heart?

And why do you keep going to old dead works that lead to a dissatisfied life? Listen! Whatever you put before God which is not pleasing to Him it will be rejected. Whatever you put before God as a substitute in place of him, God will reject it.

What is it that God has rejected in your life that you are still trying to resurrect? What God does not respect God will reject.

The bottom line is that we need to understand, the very reason for all this process that takes place in our life is to open our eyes to walk in the mandate of God’s calling. That is to win souls. It’s all about souls! It’s not about us. It’s about Jesus who died for all humanity. We are to become His instruments. There is a perishing world out there and my heart cries out. This journey is all about Him!
