Elder Dorai Manikam who is heading FGA Kuala Lumpur’s English Working Committee, the organisers for the Easter activities said: “The church has traditionally presented musicals with dance and drama elements in the past. This year, our Performing Arts Ministry is doing things differently with a script written by our own group of writers.
“The main character encounters his moment of truth, where at a point of desperation, he sees his life unfold before his eyes as his past finally catches up.
“The setting is contemporary and will be appealing to both our church members and guests. The themes and real-life issues are part of daily challenges we all face and are easily identifiable,” he said.
Performing Arts Ministry head Kathryn Lye said, “We have been preparing this drama with the help of professional drama and acting coaches who have given us an insight into various techniques as well as sharpened our skills. I believe this will take Zero Hour to a new dimension.”
Zero Hour director June Lew added, “Our sound and lighting are managed by external consultants assisted by our in-house crews, who will provide an impactful ambience through a powerful combination of both elements. We are sure that the drama will be riveting as the cast and crew are all prepared to deliver a memorable presentation.”
