The 3rd International Women’s Conference 2014 (IWC) kicked off last weekend at the Trinity Methodist Church, Kuching. The conference this year, with the theme, Building Altars, for the first time included men and a children’s camp.
The opening also saw performances from the shofar team and invited guest Taiwan gospel singer, Donna Chiu.
“God is a faithful God,” said the first speaker of the night, Ps Kim Jones from Australia. She had earlier, called a few people up for healing as she stepped on stage to share her message.
He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.
“When He comes, all of Him comes,” she said telling God comes as our teacher, healer, and counselor. God’s presence is with us. In a corporate or national altar, each one is touched by God in some way. “You can’t be touched by God without touching others; without influencing others, our city and our nation.”
The LORD appeared to Abram and said, “To your offspring I will give this land.” So he built an altar there to the LORD, who had appeared to him.”
..and where he had first built an altar. There Abram called on the name of the LORD.”
“When God spoke to him, he built something; his faith did something,” she said. “It’s so important to be good stewards, influencing more and more for Jesus,” she continued saying Abraham built a place of worship and a place for remembrance.
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
“This supernatural confidence changes our view,” she told.
And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,
“So, we see things the way He sees things; and His view is right,” she added.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
“An encounter with God’s mercy will change the way you view things,” she said telling, “We can’t go back to seeing things the same anymore.” God has proven Himself, she told about her child being healed of cancer at 5 years old; she is now 36. “I’ve seen the healing of God, what He can do for them the way He did my child,” she said on her view of cancer.
“God has changed the way we view things. In my eyes, I can see the way He sees things,” she explained.
The word of the LORD came to me: “What do you see, Jeremiah?” “I see the branch of an almond tree,” I replied.
Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
What you decide on will be done, and light will shine on your ways.
“He will bring them to pass. He wants us to see what He sees because we experience healing. I know He has healed me,” she added.
But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.
“He says, ‘come up to a higher place; the view is amazing, the view is spectacular,’” she said. “Take our seat because we are raised up with Him.” Abraham did that because faith has seen the fulfilled promised. “That truth brings freedom. The invitation goes out tonight for us to experience what He sees. The truth will replace every lie, in yourself and in your nation.”
Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.
Worship God! For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.
David was empowered by remembering what God has done with him. “We built altars by speaking the Words that God has spoken to us,” she continued. “Doubt will die unborn if remain unspoken. When we see from God’s perspective, He begins to show up time and time again. One encounter is not enough. We need to build daily altars,” she said. He says, ‘What I speak shall come to pass.’
I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe.
Jesus is saying, ‘When I speak for you in the future, it will come to pass.’ You will have more because you believe and have faith in Him.
“So that we may grow from faith to faith,” she explained. He is increasing our confidence and expectations by our spirit.
This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.
“We are the ones stewarding those miracles again and again. When we testify, the spirit of prophesy is released,” she added. It can change our world and the people in our lives.
“What we see is not there is; the best has just begun,” she said telling; “He is giving us high expectation beyond our thoughts and capabilities; in things we never thought possible.”
“He is unleashing unreleased potential in our lives; every Word He speaks is true,” Ps Kim said. He is restoring the innocence of the church. If Daddy says it, it’s the truth.” He’s created us in the image of Him. As He is, so are we. As we speak, He performs it.
“My word has creative power. He has things in store for us. Bless the Lord!” she ended.
