The Story Behind Come What May
I Thessalonians 5:18 – In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
I Peter 4:16 – Yet, if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
and naked I will depart.
The Lord gave & the Lord has taken away;
may the name of the Lord be praised.” (Job 1:20)
I know everybody has their own challenges in life. But does everybody know that God deserves to be worshipped not only in good times but in bad times as well?
In the past few years, I have personally experienced challenges that may not be big for others, but it sure was for me. As much as I wanted to blame others (or even God) I know I can’t for this is a path I strongly feel God wanted me to take. For what reason? I do not know but I do know that God will never leave me nor forsake me, and for that, He deserves to be praised.
Job said it best “The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised.” God deserves it all, in good times and bad times.
I’m sure many of us have comes across this verse but how many of us really practice it? We tend to forget worshipping Him in “bad times” as “it” becomes the center of our focus, blurring out who God was and still is in our lives.
In the good or the bad that life offers, I’ve learned to worship Him and give Him the praise. I wanted people to be reminded of this as Job was reminded in his trials, hence the song was written with the intention of reminding us to worship Him regardless of the seasons we go through as Christians.
“Come what may, still I will praise Your name”
Together we can make the difference

Ministry Introduction
One Accord Ministry or better known as 1a.m. is the worship and creative arm of Eaglepoint Church, Kuala Lumpur.
The phrase one accord holds Acts 2 together.
“When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place” Acts 2:1.
The believers were united in everything they did. In our time, we come together in one accord because we believe that united worship brings change.
