Combined Churches Revival in Penang 16th-18th October 2025: Power Night with Rev Raymond Mooi

Day 3: Power Night at Excel Point Community Church (EPCC), George Town

The Power Night Healing was a bi-lingual service (with Mandarin translation) with Rev Raymond Mooi who has been serving God as an evangelist and a revivalist for over 45 years. He has broken opened many cities in Asia for miracle rallies to be conducted, where God’s great love and power is amazingly demonstrated through the presentation of God’s miraculous healing. He founded the School of Acts in 1994 with his wife to help prepare, equip and train His people to work the works of God.

Rev Raymond began with the preaching on the Almighty God as the Creator of the heavens, the earth and the mankind. The Word of word, which is called the Holy Bible, is the written voice of God.

Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets,

In ancient days, God spoke through prophets. Battles were won and nations prospered. People received directions from the prophets who had been given information, instructions and commandments by God. They saw God bless the nations.

Hebrews 1:2 (ESV)

but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.

Today, He speaks through His Son Jesus Christ who came into this world 2000 years ago, His word was recorded. It came as the expressed image of God. Mankind knew in their heart that if they did not have God, there is something missing in their lives. But sin has separated man from God. Mankind has been searching for God. When Jesus was born, God gave mankind the answer. His name shall be called Emmanuel, God with us. Jesus had the power to remove the sins for man to return to God.

Rev Raymond emphasized that the power that created the heavens and the earth was the same power in the room that night. As God is a living God, He speaks to people. He knew their needs for healing. He was there to touch people. God wanted to heal them of their conditions, take away their pain and give them a miracle that night.

God is eternal ruler. His Word is His command. God makes decrees. When God speaks, all creation obeys Him. Therefore whatsoever needs to change in order to conform to His command will take place. This applies to healing too.

Rev Raymond used the example of the man with a withered hand (Matthew 12:9-14, Mark 3:1-6, Luke 6:6-11) to illustrate Jesus’ healing power with words. Before the first miracle prayer, Rev Raymond announced that God was going to give healing to three categories:

• Bone conditions
• Eye sight conditions
• Breathing difficulties

Those who had those with the sicknesses mentioned above were asked to raise their hands and stand up. The power of God was already moving. As soon as they did that, some instantly received the divine healing.

Then, those who were standing were asked to place their hands upon where there was sickness.

Next, Rev Raymond prayed the miracle prayer in Jesus’ name.

After that,those who were standing were asked to remain standing and to get out to the aisles to do what they could not do before because of their conditions, to check if they have received their healing.

Those who have confirmed that their sickness was gone to lift their hands and wave, and to praise God for the healing, and to go to the stage to testify God’s healing.

The first lady who testified was relieved from more than 10 years of her shoulder pain.

The second lady said that she had fallen down from the stairs more than ten years ago. She went through a surgery last February but still could not walk properly. After the prayer, she walked to the stage by herself without a walking stick which she needed previously. She could also lift her legs freely.

Another lady was free from asthma she had suffered from for two years. She had received healing for her eye problem in a previous healing rally by Rev Raymond. A young man was healed from 17 years of nose blockage since birth. A woman who had back pain was able to squat up and down on the stage. Her shoulder pain and numbness, her swelling in her right hand were gone too.

Other people took turns to give their respective testimonies. They were healed from thumb injury, knee injury, sinus, slipped disc, etc of different duration.

The second miracle prayer was for other sicknesses varying from heart, hearing, internal organ failure, blood, diabetics, stomach, ovaries, cancer, lumps, depression, insomnia and double vision.

“Jesus asked, ‘Do you want to be healed? What would be your answer today?Whatsoever the sickness is, the name of Jesus is above every name of the sickness.” Rev Raymond stressed that before the prayer.

Among those who continued to testify was a lady who had received 3 miracles. She was healed from asthma, blurred vision and hearing problem. After the prayer, she could see clearly without the glasses and hear clearly without the hearing aid.

The 3rd miracle prayer was for the salvation prayer for the forgiveness of sins. The response to the prayer was encouraging too.

After the Power Night, the organisers received a report that a lady who was watching online got healed of 40 years of spine problem. The doctor had told her that there would be no healing without operation but she chose to bear with the pain. That night she was praying for healing of her skin problem but God healed her spine instead!

Another online viewer got healed in her wrist online. The organisers continue to receive reports of healings and miracles for those who watched Power Night online and needed doctor’s verification after the event.
