Here are few upcoming events in Ipoh (and Kampar) in November. Come and be blessed.
Intentional Discipleship Training Seminar 2013
This seminar will be held on the 5 of November at St. Peter’s Church, Ipoh from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm. Organized by the lower and upper north archdeaconry of the Anglican Diocese of West Malaysia, this seminar will be held in three languages – English, Chinese and Tamil. Speakers for this seminar will focus on effective intentional discipleship training, on how to turn the members of the church into mature lay ministers. While this will require great commitment and seriousness from the local church, discipleship needs to be integral part of the church if it wants to see growth. Fee for this seminar is RM20 per person. Contact 05 5460444 for more information.
Global Day of Worship
You are invited to join us in worship on the 30 of November at FGA Ipoh, 8pm. Global Day of Worship (GDW) is a call for a unified, global worship movement to see the name of Jesus lifted up throughout the earth. It will be a day that will unify many streams and denominations within the body of Christ while embracing and celebrating the differences in expressions of love for Jesus Christ. One this day, we will not focus on asking, or petitioning before the Lord, but a day we will simply gaze upon His beauty, thank Him for His love, and declare his attributes and goodness in our lives, families, communities and nations. In the spirit of unity, the band that will be leading worship will be from several different churches in Ipoh. Join us for a global celebration and adoration of our Lord and Savior. For more information, contact Pas. Matthew Dass at 05 5472995.
