The secret to your breakthrough is praying! God will do more things through your prayers than He will do in any other way.
Your prayers can move the hand of God to transform and change your situation. You may not understand the mystery of prayer. However, the question many of us will ask is: why pray when you are not getting any results?
But instead of quitting we should seek for wisdom as to how to take our prayers to a new level of breakthrough.
We need to be aware that there are some demonic barriers that we need to conquer that may be blocking your prayers from reaching God.
Meanwhile the question we need to ask ourselves is this: Does GOD have all power to move in your situation? Or do we bother God enough for Him to release power in your prayer? Again, if we bother Him enough will He do something in our situation? Can we earn answers to our prayers?
1 John 5:14,15
” And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us. ”
If Jesus needed to pray to remain in the Father’s will, how much more do we need to pray?
GOD HAS DEPOSITED HIS POWER IN US..
If you want to carry your prayers to the next level. It is extremely important for you to understand that God has deposited His power in us in prayer. You will become a powerful person of prayer if you can understand this statement. It will help you to understand how and why we keep praying despite what you are seeing..
Luke 24:49
Behold I send the promise of my father upon you but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endured with power from on high.
Acts 1:8
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you….. There is a power that is deposited in you by God through the Holy Spirit.
Ephesians 3:20 Now to him who is able to do 1) exceedingly 2)abundantly 3)above all, that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. What does it say? “ according to the POWER that works in us.“ Where did this power come from? Luke 24:49 and Acts 1:8 says that if you endured, you receive power from the Holy Spirit and it is deposited in you for its function in your life.
How many of you believe with all your heart that God is going to answer your prayers exceedingly and abundantly above all that we can ask or think according to the power that works in us?
You say, I have been praying for so long but I am not getting any results. Often you come across people who will even tell you ” I am tired of praying.”
GOD INDEED IS LISTENING DESPITE WHAT YOU ARE SEEING
Now the key to your answer is found in the last phrase in this verse “According to the power that works in us.“. It speaks about the power that is residing in us, it speaks about the power that is deposited in us, the question is how much of this power that you are willing to distribute, release, measure out in your prayers)
The power that God has deposited in our life is not for us to keep it safely! It’s not for it to lie dormant in you! It is to be activated! It is to enable us to function and be powerful in this life.
WE MUST RELEASE HIS POWER THROUGH OUR PRAYERS
How much of Gods power are you measuring out in your situation?
GOD‘S UNLIMITED POWER IS LIMITED ACCORDING TO OUR PRAYERS.
WE LIMIT GOD BECAUSE OF OUR IGNORANCE of the power that belongs to us. The power that resides in us.
God has all power, He has unlimited power but it is limited in my life because of my ignorance of the power that belongs to me and therefore my prayers becomes ineffective. The more you release the power deposited in you, in your prayers the greater the results will be. The question is how much of power is flowing out of you?
We are always crying out to God to rescue us. We are always waiting on God to move in our situation but God is waiting on us to move and release that power that has been given to us already.
Why did Elijah pray 7 times? God already said it was going to rain. Why was Elijah persistent in prayer? But he prayed 7 times because he was releasing power that was deposited in him to fulfil the word of God in his life.
Here we see the power of prayer in conjunction with God’s plan and purpose.
Why did Daniel pray for 21 days? (Daniel 10:2-3) Daniel was an ordinary man who had an extraordinary relationship with God. The angel explains from the first day that Daniel prayed his prayer was heard in heaven but there was opposition by the “prince of the kingdom of Persia”? The “Prince of Persia” is a demonic force preventing a message from arriving to Daniel, who has been praying for 21 day (Daniel 10)
Listen! Here is what it says the first day you prayed I left heaven with the answer but there is a war in the heavenlies. “But because you kept praying, help was sent to me that I was able to get through to you.”
We know there is a war in the heavenly realm – spiritual warfare.( Eph.6:12)
You need to understand something here. Your answer to your prayer is sent out from heaven the first day you prayed. Have you thought about that? Have you ever asked yourself: What if Daniel had stopped praying after 20 days? I wonder how many of us give up so easily and stop praying and miss out on God’s help.
I am not denying the fact that God has already done it in the heavenly and that God is in control of everything! But we have been given the power! The authority! To move it from heaven to earth. Yes the work has been done by Jesus but we need to move it. “THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN” And it is within our jurisdiction! It is within our authority and power which God has already deposited in us. We must release his power through our prayers.
GOD ADDS HIS FIRE (Power) TO OUR PRAYERS
Your prayer on earth activates God’s power in heaven.
This is an amazing truth in the Bible. (Rev.5: 8 )God adds His fire to our prayers.
Rev.5:8
Now when He ( that is Jesus) had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and twenty- four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
Rev.8:4
And the smoke of the incense with the prayers of Gods people (the saints) ascended before God from the angel’s hand. (That means your prayer reached Gods throne)
Rev.8:5
Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, thundering, lightnings, and earthquake. ( In other words it affected the atmosphere in the earth)
Listen, here is a revelation. There are this bowls (containers of your prayers) in heaven representing every concern and struggle of yours on earth and when these bowls get filled and that incense goes up to the throne of God, your prayers goes up and are accepted.
There is an angel who is appointed and his job is to add the fire from the altar: the fire here represents ( Gods power ! Gods fire! To our prayers) and throws that back to earth to address all your problems that are troubling you.
The question I like to ask you today. How full are your prayer bowls in heaven? Is it filled with fragrance of incense which rises to God?
( Ps. 141:1-2). David said
‘May my prayer be set before you like incense’.
Listen! When you are on your knees you are filling these golden bowls with fragrance of incense and your prayers will not only reach God’s throne but it will come down to address your problems that you are praying for right now. GOD INDEED LISTENS TO EVERY PRAYER THAT IS LIFTED TO HIM.

Thank you for sharing, Rev Dr Jai Kumar. Though He is the all-powerful, miracle-working God, He chooses not to do it alone. He chooses to work hand in hand with man, His coworkers. And prayer is the key that unlocks God’s power.
All Glory goes to God I am truly humbled to realize what such enlightenment beyond my own understanding .! As a matter of fact I am so amazed of what really belongs to us as his child and how to function and live the life purchased for us in John 10:10. I don't believe it because the Bible says God is with us and beside us all the time which means that He will be able to see and hear what, when and where we are praying. How can prayers be blocked by the demonic barriers from reaching God?
The writer I believe is talking about sin (demonic barriers). Christians can still be living in sin. Sin obviously allows the devil to block our communion with God. But then God is merciful….

One needs revelation knowledge of the holy spirit to pick up what the writer is trying to convey regarding overcoming demonic barriers that can be a hindrance to our prayers

God created Adam and Eve walked with them in sweet fellowship every day how come ! yet they fell into deception? God created us with a freedom of choice.
Demonic barriers can mean certain strong holds in us that can influence us to pray out of the will of God which will absolutely not be answered .
