“I am with you; that is all you need. My power shows up in weak people.” (2 Corin 12:9a LB)

PERFECTION IS A DELUSION

The world tries to rationalize a lot of things with mathematical principles and solutions. They have a rigid mindset of understanding about how we should behave and look. Often they try to squeeze us into their culture and mould. As a result we are often made a target of their opinions. Especially as Christians they expect perfection from us. They think if we are in Christ we should be sailing on a bed of roses and nothing should happen to us.

THEY ARE IGNORANT ABOUT GOD

There is something that we need to understand in the Kingdom mentality, which is God loves to use weak people. Seriously speaking, no matter who you are, unfortunately, in reality everyone has weaknesses. It can either be one or the other; emotional, intellectual or spiritual it doesn’t matter!

But you know what? Sadly, God is not able to use a lot of people today because we chase after perfection. By doing so, we delay God’s purpose and plan in our lives simply because of our ignorance of God. So often, we have limited Him in our thinking and opinion. As a result we deny our weaknesses. We defend them! We excuse them! We hide them! And we resent them!

GOD IS BIGGER THAN YOUR OPINION OF HIM

So often we have mistaken God’s ways by trying to intellectualize Him with our own limited wisdom. But God says: “My thoughts and my ways are higher and different from yours.”(Isaiah 55:9)

In the eyes of the so called “wise- world, you may look very silly when they see your weaknesses but God says: “I will take the foolish things of the world to shame the wise” (1 Cor1:27).  Therefore, some of your weaknesses are deliberately allowed by God for the very purpose of demonstrating His power through you and enabling you to get a clearer and bigger picture of Him.

Job was a typical example where God allowed his affliction and liberated Job out his boxed opinion of God. That Job could say in Job 23:10: “when he has tested me, I will come out like gold.”

Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: Job 13:15

Although we may not be perfect, the thing that is different about us is that we have the grace of God available to us to overcome our weaknesses, problems and challenges that we face in life.  Paul suffered tremendously for the surpassing knowledge of knowing Christ.

My grace is sufficient unto you for my power will perfect all your weaknesses. (2 Cor.12:9)

I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me” Philippians 4:13.

GOD IS NEVER LIMITED BY YOUR LIMITATION

The Bible says, we are like common pottery, fragile and flawed and breakable! But God will use us if we allow Him to do so.  Remember, God is never limited by our limitations.  When we stop trying to perform, pretending to be perfect and become honest to ourselves He will pour out His supernatural power into you to fulfill His purpose.

GOD WANTS YOU TO DEPEND UPON HIM

Paul says: “I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may work through me.” (2 Cor 12:7)

Paul said “when I am weak then I am strong”.  In other words what he is actually trying to convey here is that my weaknesses enables me to depend more upon my God for the enabling strength.

GOD CAN TURN YOUR WEAKNESSES AROUND FOR HIS GLORY

You know what? Your greatest miracle in your ministry will come out of your deepest weakness in your life, if you learn to totally depend upon God for your strength and enablement. God is going to use you to do great exploits for him. Some of you are wondering why the promises of God are not being fulfilled in your life? You need to change your perspective about God. Many of us are so dependent on the outward man and give second priority to the spirit man in you. You have to place the supernatural first in our lives and see signs and wonders following.

GOD IS NOT ASKING FOR YOUR ABILITY

In the course of my ministry I have come across a lot of people who have been procrastinating to make themselves available as an instrument of God. People of great ability and gift are wasting away their lives because of wrong thinking and low self-esteem. You are made to believe God cannot use you because of your imperfection.  It’s a lie of the devil!  May I say to you today, you will never find that perfect person in this world.  It will merely be a dream and a delusion.

Only God is perfect and holy!

GOD KNOWS WHO WE ARE

You know what? And besides, God is not expecting that from you! Neither is He looking for perfect people! Because He knows He can never find one.  But rather, God is looking for that person who despite his weaknesses is willing to say: “I want to be used of God.”

We come under the convent blessings of Abraham today because of one man, who despite his weaknesses obeyed the CALL of God in his life.

“And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise” [Galatians 3:29 NKJV]

Listen! All the great men in the Bible that God was able to use mightily were not perfect super humans. They were initially weak and imperfect people yet they had a heart of character to be honest, humble and teachable.  We are living on borrowed time. These are serious times. God wants to use everyone. No matter who you are God will use you if you can only say: “Use me Lord!” What is God saying to you today!?

WISHING YOU A BLESSED NEW YEAR

GOD BLESS YOU RICHLY
