IF YOU CAN MAKE GOD’S WORD AS THE FINAL AUTHORITY, IT WILL TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE
How many people alive today are under the influence of – God or under the influence of something else?
The scripture says to think soberly according to the word. If our thinking is not according to the Word then our thinking is going to be under the influence of something else.
The question is who is influencing you in your thinking. Is your thinking measured by the Word of God or is it influenced by the philosophies of this world?
When events takes place in your life the way you think will determine how you are going to handle the different situations in your life.
Human tendency is always to be defensive or blame someone else when they are confronted with a problem. Quite rarely you would come across someone who would sincerely admit that they had failed because of weakness in themselves or rather take the blame on themselves.
Your success or defeat in your life is not based on your circumstances! It’s not based on the people you deal with! Neither is it based on the system out there! Blaming circumstances will not make you successful or unsuccessful. Here is a key: God always gives us a seed for success but it incubates in YOUR MIND AND HEART FIRST.
If you fail in your MIND you will be defeated in your LIFE! Your problem is not circumstances out there! Your problem isn’t bad luck! Your problem is not even the devil! Your problem is a THINKING PROBLEM!
Your problem is renewing of your mind!! (CHANGING OF YOUR MINDSET)
You know what? Have you ever given a thought that your life today is the creation of all your thoughts you have been making yesterday? What you are today is A PRODUCT OF A SEED that you conceived in your mind yesterday and that seed has obviously produced after its own kind. BECAUSE, God’s law says, everything (SEED ) WILL produces after its own kind (Genesis1)
What happens in your mind determines your outcome. Your success or failure is an inside job (Heart & Mind). You don’t have to change the circumstances in order to change the outcome of your life. Some people think if “I can change everything and everybody out there, only then I will be successful in life”. They fail to realize that even if they succeeded in changing everything out there, they will still not be successful because success IS NOT OUT THERE! If you ever want to succeed IN YOUR LIFE, you need to do a lot of CHANGING IN YOUR MIND AND HEART.
Have you forgotten that you are created in the image of God? You are a creative force of God. You can take charge of your life by taking charge of your thinking. You can be TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING OF YOUR MIND.
Your problem is renewing of your mind!! (CHANGING OF YOUR MINDSET)
CHANGE IS A VERY POWERFUL FORCE & GOD WANTS US TO CHANGE so that He can work out His purpose and destiny in your life.
The devil will lock your mind off by sowing seeds of lies in you. He will make you believe you are hopeless and helpless. He will paralyse your thinking and reasoning power and imprison you under his control. By doing this you are unable to know the truth because the moment you come to know the truth it has the power to set you free.
John 8:32 NIV
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
The devil has to empty you first. He has to make you bankrupt first, before he can come in and take over your life, so that he can manipulate and control us and keep us in poverty in his kingdom of darkness.
He doesn’t want you to drive your life; he wants to drive you. He wants to make you a passenger.
The world will tell you. What’s wrong being a passenger? I am better off being a passenger! They will tell you my status is better than a driver. That’s what the world system is all about.
As a result, most of us are riding on a passenger seat instead of driving on the driver’s seat.
You know what? I will tell you the difference between a passenger and a driver.
A PASSENGER
A passenger has no control he is totally dependent on the driver. For example, if you are passenger in a taxi. You have no control of your destiny. The taxi can take you round and round before you reach your destination. That’s because you are ignorant of the way. Your journey can take longer than usual.
In other words, the passenger is hopeless and helpless when it comes to where he wants to go. There is always a possibility of the driver manipulating you.
A DRIVER
The driver on the other hand is in control of his destiny, he has the power within him which route he wants to take and where he wants to turn and where he wants to go. He knows the truth of his journey.
WHICH CATEGORY DO YOU BELONG?
Where have you been classified? If you are a passenger than you are driving on someday. And the devil can ride on you. He can control you because you are dependent on him to take you to places. You are ignorant of your direction. You are ignorant of where you need to go to reach a certain destination.
WHO ARE YOU IN CHRIST AND WHO IS CHRIST IN YOU?
When you are Christ controlled you can no longer see your problem as the world sees. You have the anointing to change the way you think about your problem and TRANSFORM YOUR PROBLEM!
Can you see, all these events, whether positive or negative happens outside you. It cannot impact or affect you unless you make a WILLING CHOICE to allow it to COME INSIDE YOU and affect you emotionally. What you believe determines what you become. “You think what you think because you believe what you believe”. Ultimately who you are in Christ and who Christ is in you will determine your outcome.
WE CARRY A CONTAGIOUS POWER
There are people out there who are in desperately in need of help. They are trapped into deep trouble and all they need is to change the way they think. Everybody at some point of time will face some kind of issue in life. But you know what? If your thoughts are not in line with God’s Word the outcome of your reaction can affect you and the way you are going to handle such issues.
Because the enemy has twisted their minds with the manipulation of fear. A mould seems to look like a mountain for such people.
Meanwhile, you and I can be powerful instruments to rescue them and direct them in the right path of thinking by speaking into them ‘Life’ and creating a positive mindset of thinking.
