Note from Christianity Malaysia

Our Daily Bread Ministries has been an uplifting presence and ministry for generations of Christians all over the world. Renowned for their little booklet of daily devotions, what many may not know is that their edifying content encompasses a much wider field.

Our Daily Bread Ministries in Malaysia (ODBM) is very much an independent (non-profit) undertaking but a very proactive one, conducted out of a very intentional heart to bless. ODBM’s content ranges from wholesome advice for families and daily issues, Bible studies, generational discipling, counseling for the wounded, daily faith, outreach, and even a Spotlight Corner for reflective pieces by local writers. Much of this can be found online at linktr.ee/ourdailybread.org.my

We are very excited, honoured, and thankful to have ODBM come aboard as a regular partner. May this partnership be a fruitful one that will bless countless readers.

Introduction from Our Daily Bread Ministries Malaysia (ODBM)

At Our Daily Bread Ministries, our mission is to make God’s Word understandable and accessible to all. One of our main focuses is guiding Generation Alpha to develop lifelong devotional habits and supporting families in building a strong foundation in Christ. Therefore, we work with families, youth leaders, schools, churches, and organizations to provide resources that encourage regular Scripture reading, meaningful discussions, and spiritual growth among young people. We are excited to share them with you on the Christianity Malaysia website. If you’re interested in it, stay tuned for more!

Together, Let’s Build Family Devotion in Our Homes!

Parents today are increasingly worried about their children’s well-being, including their healthy habits, instances of bullying, internet safety, stress, and depression, as well as which schools they should attend. Much parenting today is driven by worry and fear, leaving many parents overwhelmed and unprepared. We believe that building a family on God cannot be done apart from modeling biblical teachings in our lives.

It doesn’t take a big step; it can start with a simple action. All you need to begin is to have family devotion in your house. Hear from Brother Henry Lee about his experience in guiding his children in building habits of coming together, praying, and encouraging one another with God’s Word.

About the Our Daily Bread Ministries

In 1938, the ministry started with a radio program called Detroit Bible Class. Since then, our audience has grown from a small group of dedicated radio listeners to millions of people around the world who use our Bible-based resources.

Over the years our name has changed to better reflect the variety of resources we offer. Today, we realize that most people recognize who we are by the well-loved devotional Our Daily Bread.  So we changed our name to Our Daily Bread Ministries to more clearly communicate who we are. Although our name has changed, our focus remains the same: reaching out to people all around the world with the message of God’s love.

We’re a non-denominational, non-profit organization with staff and volunteers in over 37 offices working together to distribute more than 60 million resources in 150 countries. Regardless of whether it’s a radio or television broadcast, DVD, podcast, book, mobile app, or website, we provide materials to help people grow in their relationship with God.
