Nigerian Pastor visits RCCG Kuching

11 March 2013 by Donna Uning CM –

“New things are going to start,” Ps Gbenga Kotila called to the people at The Redeemed Christian Church of God on Thursday’s prayer meeting here.

Senior Pastor Gbenga Kotila of Center for Reality International Church, Ibadan, Nigeria talked at the church during his visit to Kuching in March. The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Life Fountain International Parish of Kuching celebrated their first anniversary recently.

“God works by season. He is going to launch you into a new phase, a new flow,” Ps Gbenga said. This is going to be a beginning of things for you. God is going to open a new chapter in your life. Sarah felt it was over.

“Man may say it’s the end, but God says it has just begun. God said it just started,” he continued saying when Sarah went to meet Hagar, at that point she felt ‘it’s over for me.’ “It’s not as critical as you feel it’s over for you,” he said.

Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more that we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” John 14:14 says, “If you ask me for anything in my name. I will do it,” and Romans 4:17 says, “He called those things which are not as though they were.”

In any situation, God is a God of restoration. The Lord restores the captivity of Zion. God says it is not over and opened a new chapter, he said.

In the glory of God we are changed into the same image, from glory to glory. “What I believe is what I declare,” continued Ps Gbenga.

In Hebrews 11:6, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”

The world is transformed by the word of God. Those who come to Him must believe that He is whatever He means and concluded. What He concluded, He speaks. Those who wait upon the Lord, he will renew his strength.

We don’t deal with a God who is impossible. With God, ALL things are possible. Habakkuk 1:5 says, “Look at the nations and watch – and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told,” and

2 Corinthians 3:18 says, “And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”

“We are being changed. I am the one who is about to happen! According to the times of life, every man has a time of life. There’s a set time for your life,” he called. You will fulfill your appointment. Somebody is about to laugh and sing a new song. When grace is upon you, you will be laughing under the influence of the Holy Spirit.

The laughter of the devil is just for three days; the laughter of Jesus lasts forever.

“Every appointment of God is a provocation of destiny. Encounter with God will change your life. That is about to happen,” he added. Sarah laughed when she was told about having a child at her age. It is according to the times of life. Is there anything too hard for the Lord to do?

He’s going to do it for you. Your breakthrough is in your mouth. God meets needs according to situation. You don’t challenge the anointing of God. Anything that is in God’s presence, God will revive it. For the vision is in the appointed time. God can do it now! Faith is now!

Ps Gbenga continued the session with prayer and ministry time. Most students who attended RCCG are from Unimas.  The Thursday prayer meetings run from 7 – 9 pm. RCCG is located in Kota Semarahan.
