The Global Worship Day is a highly anticipated event for Christians across our nation each year. In just three days, Malaysia will come together to celebrate GLOBAL WORSHIP DAY MALAYSIA 2024 (GWD Malaysia 2024). This special occasion, organised by Global Worship (GWT) Malaysia will unite worshippers, speakers, prayer leaders, and dancers from all 13 states for a full day of worship and prayer. It also offers an opportunity to seek God’s voice and discern His message for the local Body of Christ in this season.
Leading a Wave of Worship Across the Nation
GWT Malaysia, the organiser of the event, consists of anointed worshippers and musicians from churches across the Klang Valley, led by notable leaders such as Rev Sean Prasad, Pr Nicky Ling, Shamini Ruth, and Patrick Leong. Their mission is to build altars of worship and see praise overflow throughout Malaysia. As part of the Global Worship Day movement – which unites Christians worldwide in worship to establish a global altar – GWT encourages churches to engage actively in praise and worship and join the global wave on this special day.
The mission is to see worshippers rising in all 13 participating states, in cities, towns, districts, and even in the remote parts of this nation and ultimately to see believers in Malaysia become a people of praise. Their hope is that through their Praise & Worship sessions, people will be able to have an encounter with Jesus and that the supernatural will be experienced. Songs and sounds of heaven will be heard. They pray for God’s glory to be released, His power unleashed, and every heart to turn to Christ, becoming the bride He longs to return for.
GWT Malaysia’s sessions are marked by passionate, free-flowing worship, spontaneous songs, and prophetic expressions led by the Holy Spirit. GWT Malaysia believes that when believers gather corporately and when they are locked into powerful praise & wholehearted worship, the spiritual climate in our towns, cities, and nation will be changed. Originating from worship in the musical spheres, they have since then also include expressions of worship through art.
