After taking a three-year hiatus, major music event of the year MGM Festival 2022 is back to celebrate the compositions of original gospel music in Malaysia. Slated on 12 November 2022 at Wisma Eagles in Subang Jaya, the festival will bring together some of the top homegrown gospel artistes as well as emerging young artistes and bands.
MGM Festival is an annual event organised by the Malaysian Gospel Music (MGM) since 2011. MGM President Pastor Dr Nicholas Wu said “In line with our vision, we have conducted a number of events such as concerts, workshops and showcases throughout the years. MGM Festival is the pinnacle of it all and we are truly blessed to be able to assemble the most accomplished musicians to run workshops and perform this year.”
The concert line-up includes well-known artistes in the Malaysian music industry including veteran songwriter and recording artiste Patrick Leong, Akademi Fantasia theme song singer, Malaysian Idol trainer, songwriter Juwita Suwito, 2015 Outstanding Young Malaysian Honoree Award winner, singer songwriter Brian John Yim,and a host of other talents including ROG Worship, FGTSD, BWCC, Jeffrey Yong, Ignite FCC, Echo, Sabrina Lee, Raymond Tan, Destiny C3, Global Worship Malaysia, Rhemedy and Gosing.
“We have many talents in song writing, vocal singing, worship leading and AV production. Our workshops intend to lend them a helping hand in sharpening their skills, while the concert aims to continue aspiring them to reach greater heights.” Pastor Wu added.
The full day event will begin with music workshops in the morning from 9.30 am – 12.30 pm and end with a concert from 6.30pm -9.30 pm. While the night concert is free, the morning music workshops will be by registration and will only cost RM 20 for any two sessions.

Malaysian Gospel Music (MGM) Festival 2022
Date: 12th November 2022, 9:30-12:30am (Workshops) and 6:30-9:30pm (Concert)
There is a fee of RM20 when you sign up for any two the workshops. Areas include Vocal Training, Video Production, Principles of Songwriting, Worship Leading, and even Constructing and Selecting Acoustic Guitars. Do register at to confirm your attendance.
Attendance at the concert is free.
