As we enter in into the new year of 2017, many in Malaysia, even among us Christians, are facing great challenges and stressful times. In times like these, it may seem that God is far away, but if there’s one promise by God, it’s that He will never forsake us.

We serve a God of faithfulness, full of might and grace and compassion, whose very embodiment is that of power and of love. Recently Rev Sean Prasad shared a list of ten predictions with Christianity Malaysia in the hopes that it will bless and encourage the Body of Christ in Malaysia.

Unlike the usual list of predictions, however, these are solidly grounded in God’s word. They are not predictions in the usual sense of the term. These are sure to come true because they are derived from Scripture itself. In many ways, they are more of a reminder and assurance of God’s promises to us, and that those promises hold true at all times, even when things around us may seem dark.

Rev Prasad shared that he has already send these predictions to the Klang Valley Pastors Fellowship and our national Christian leaders. ‘The reason is,’ he conveyed, ‘because there are uncertainties among the Body of Christ in Malaysia who are so afraid of the future. These ten predictions will give them assurance that God is still at work in our current circumstance.’
