YOUR MIND IS CONSTANTLY CHALLENGED
The mind is the battlefield, where your success and failure is determined. You know what? Nothing is closer to us than our own thoughts. Therefore, if we can fill our thoughts with what God says about us, we will begin to experience peace, joy and victory in our everyday life. As a man thinketh in his heart so is he (Prov 23:7). Never dispute the fact that God always speaks the best about us. Our growth and identity is Christ centered, built on the pillar and foundation of God’s word.
When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child,I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. (1 Cor.13:11)
I am afraid that the negative messages you received and the flawed perceptions you formed about yourself in childhood were wrong then, and they can be wrong now if you keep dwelling and recalling your past. They are wrong because God says so in His word!
If you are in Christ, behold all things have become new in you. The old has passed away… It is in Christ that we discover who we are in Him ( 2 Cor. 5:17). We all must overcome fears of failure and past rejections to allow God to work in us.
However, the choice between failure or success lies in your mind. Most people think that they are simply slaves to the fates of this world which I am afraid is absolutely a lie of the devil and a deception, and besides its definitely not in line with what Gods says about you.
GOD WILL NEVER COMPROMISE WITH YOUR UNHOLY LIFESTYLE
The problem with most Christians is that a lot of times we make the mistake of reducing God to our level of thinking and we try to MANIPULATE God by accessing him with our own clever immature mind. Little did we realize that God is holy and He expects righteousness and holiness from us. You can’t expect to be a Sunday Christian, then go on to live any way you want to, or do anything you feel like doing and expect God to pour out his blessings on you. You got the whole picture wrong about God.
RELIGIOUS MINDSET HAS NO POWER
Religion will teach you to be holy only in church and it will tell you what you do outside the church is irrelevant. It’s this kind of nonsense that most people are buying into today. I can tell you, if you live this way, you are just chasing the wind. Nothing good is going to happen in your life.
We have seen throughout the Bible whenever people delighted and strictly followed God’s principles laid down in His word, His presence was there to sustain them. This is the economy of God.
If you want to see any transformation at all and the power of God’s blessing in your life, you need to first of all, live and move in alignment with God’s word. Seriously, there are no two ways about it.
NO MAN IS A LOSER WHEN YOU PUT GOD FIRST IN YOUR LIFE
Put God first in your life. Priorities in your life should be aligned to God’s standards and measures! Do not dwell. Do not compromise. Do not accommodate thoughts, ideas or solutions the world offers that are not in line with God’s word.
Godly living is profitable (1 Timothy 4:8). Godliness is profitable in every single area of your life, no matter what it is! Remember, God told Abraham, if you will obey me, I will empower you to prosper. It is God’s will to prosper and bless your well-being as you live in this world.
But you know what? Some people have a very strange kind of understanding when it comes to aligning themselves to God’s ways. They dictate the terms to God, not realizing that God is the one that holds their future in His hands! They put themselves first and give the left overs to God. What can you say of such people?
But God clearly promises, when we seek him and put him first in our lives, he promises to take care of all our needs beyond what we can ever comprehend ( Matt 6:33). In short, he is saying, “You are not in the drivers seat! ‘I AM’, yes, I am in control of your needs! That area belongs to Me! And I know how to provide for you.”
WHEN YOU ARE PREPARED TO GIVE THE BEST, YOU CANNOT IMAGINE THE GRACE OF GOD
God wants your best seed in order for him to start working in your life. But so often, we give Him the least and expect to get the best. And what we do for the rest of the time is constantly complaining to God that He is not working for you.
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in my house, and try me in this, saith the Lord: if I open not unto you the flood-gates of heaven, and pour you out a blessing even to abundance. (Malachi 3:10, DRA)
God is no man’s debtor! God doesn’t owe anybody, anything. He doesn’t need your money. Everything belongs to him. He is a rich God. No matter how much you give, you can never “out-give God.” Therefore, don’t ever develop any idea that you can trade with Him! But here is a principle you need to pick up that God wants to teach all of us. The principle of learning is to give the best to God simply because of our love for Him. It’s an attitude that God is seeking in our lives.
YOU NEED TO CHANGE FROM WHERE YOU ARE AND MOVE TO WHERE GOD IS WAITING FOR YOU.
WE GIVE EXCUSES ALL THE TIME BECAUSE WE WANT TO REMAIN WHERE WE ARE.
YOU WANT TO SEE TRANSFORMATION.
Your readiness to change determines your effectiveness and progress! It is a season for you to move from one level to another, from one dimension to a higher dimension!
God wants you to move from the season of survival to the season of increase and prosperity in every area of your life!
WASTEFUL REGRETTABLE LIFE
Listen to me! You can’t keep running all your life from challenges, by giving excuses all the time! Time is speeding past you. Before you realize, you will grow old and regrettably discover that you have missed out all God was waiting to accomplish in your life.
But you know what? Sadly, a large number of people (Christians) unfortunately are tormented by wasteful negative thinking about themselves. Remember, thoughts can turn into action! Every time a negative thought comes to your mind, you need to remind yourself that God loves you no matter what, because of the righteousness of Christ in you!
CUT OFF THE NEGATIVE VOICE OF THE ENEMY
Rebuke the devil and start moving forward by thinking according to the Word of God. The negative voice of the enemy will destroy you if you accommodate him. Remember that whatever is in your heart will come out of your mouth. The simple rule is, if it’s not good, then don’t think it or say it (Matt. 15:18).
You know what? Thoughts and words are containers or weapons that are powerful, either they can be creative or destructive!
Develop a thankful heart. A person who truly knows God, will find his thoughts filled with praise and thanksgiving (Psalm.100:4). Many people fail to realize that we open our doors to the enemy through complaining, grumbling and cursing! The Israelites were left in the desert for 40 years instead of an 11 day journey. They complained and remained in the wilderness. Complaining is definitely a wilderness mentality that will prevent us from crossing into the blessings of God.
THE GOD OF THIS WORLD KEEPS YOU IN BONDAGE
You know what? The devil may have spent years pushing you aside, pulling you apart and putting you down, but today God’s saying to you, “I want to open you up, I want to empower you to give birth to the treasures I have placed within you!” But because of your ignorance, it has been buried in you. You are stagnant sitting there unable to think straight.
Your breakthrough is buried just below your feet. The question is are you willing dig it up? Please, throw out the old mindset! They don’t apply anymore! They are out-dated! They are not in line of what God says you are!
THE FINAL CHOICE IS YOURS
But you know what? Having said all this, the bottom line is that nothing will change around your life until you yourself make up your mind to move. Your ability to manage change will really determine how far you will go in leaving your past and moving on into a new horizon that God has set up for you!
