13th December 2012 by Robin Piong- CM.

"To Him Who Sits Unto The Throne And Unto The Lamb

Be Blessing And Honor And Power … Forever"

These were the words to the finale song of Global Day Worship held in River of Christ (ROC) church yesterday night. The event was streamed live. Some of you may have watched it locally yesterday, so are the worshippers from other countries who watched it from the comfort of their home screens.

The event kicked off with Senior Pastor of ROC, Pastor Monica opening with a prayer and exaltation of the Lord. Next, Kelvin Lim and the musicians from Eagle Point Church, Puchong took over the stage together with the music ministry of ROC, in leading the Praise and Worship.

The sound system of ROC was superb with probably 1000 RMS watts, making it capable of having a live concert! The stage is vibrantly illuminated with different lights.

The praise and worship lasted about three hours including a self-composed song by Kelvin, entitled ‘Ku Cinta Padamu’. Imagine the stamina of these musicians!

Next, Pastor Sean Prasad of Good Tidings Assembly came onstage to deliver a message. He shared that even though the last few days had been very challenging and tough, he believes in thanking and praising the Lord continuously and victory will be our's. When we give thanks to the Lord, supernatural will happen and miracles will take place.

And that is how King Jehoshaphat overcame his three fold enemies in 2 Chronicles by sending out his singers and musicians to praise the Lord– not soldiers, but worshippers! And God granted them victory for the battle was His.

He read and encouraged the believers with Psalms 92:

A psalm. A song.

1 It is good to praise the Lord
and make music to your name, O Most High,
2 proclaiming your love in the morning
and your faithfulness at night,
3 to the music of the ten-stringed lyre
and the melody of the harp.

4 For you make me glad by your deeds, Lord;
I sing for joy at what your hands have done.
5 How great are your works, Lord,
how profound your thoughts!
6 Senseless people do not know,
fools do not understand,
7 that though the wicked spring up like grass
and all evildoers flourish,
they will be destroyed forever.

8 But you, Lord, are forever exalted.

9 For surely your enemies, Lord,
surely your enemies will perish;
all evildoers will be scattered.
10 You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox;
fine oils have been poured on me.
11 My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries;
my ears have heard the rout of my wicked foes.

12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree,
they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;
13 planted in the house of the Lord,
they will flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They will still bear fruit in old age,
they will stay fresh and green,
15 proclaiming, “The Lord is upright;
he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”

After that, Joshua Navin led the Praise and Worship, followed by Joshua Tong in singing.

TO HIM WHO SITS ON THE THRONE ;

AND UNTO THE LAMB , BE BLESSING AND HONOR AND POWER FOREVER!
