Stop looking back by recalling your past. What is in front of you is far greater than what has happened behind you. Whatever mistakes you have made in the past it doesn’t matter. Because if you have never made a mistake you would never learn how to correct the mistake. Mistakes are good for you sometimes because it teaches you how to be successful in life. Secondly, learn to receive God’s forgiveness. Remember God is not a condemning God! God is a God of love and mercy.

A CONDEMNING VOICE IS FROM THE ENEMY

Never allow the negative voices of the enemy which tells you that God cannot bless you because of your bad past. If you accommodate this lie he can destroy your future by condemning you. As long as you are doing your best you don’t have to live condemned. You are under grace remember? Jesus Christ paid the price for you to bring you to this place of righteousness and wellbeing. You don’t have to struggle and be kicked into a perform mood to earn God’s blessings. You don’t have to prove to God that you deserve to be blessed! See yourself as God sees you with mercy and grace.

A NEW NATURE TO SUCCEED

When you became a born-again Christian and when you invited Jesus into your life as lord and savior you received a new nature, a nature that reflects God’s heart. You became a child of God. God has invested His power and enablement into you, to walk this righteous life before Him. However, although God has bestowed us with all this gifts inside of us, we have a choice to cooperate and respond to this new nature and learn to withdraw this treasure and apply it in our various challenges and daily walk with God.

Keep our dreams and desires alive all the time. You must believe that the God who saved you, wants you to prosper and live a life that is excellent and above average. John 10:10: Abundant Life, Not a poverty mentality!

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich (2 Cor. 8:9).

“He became poor that you may become rich”. Therefore as children of God we are to live our lives to the fullest, pursuing our passion and dreams for His glory.

THE PRESSURES OF LIFE WILL OPPOSE YOUR DREAMS

But you know what? Throughout our lives we will always have forces opposing us. The pressures of the world on the one hand and the devil on the other, always trying to prevent us from reaching our God-given goal and destiny. Because of the pressure of these attacks so often we have been so demoralized that our dreams and goals have often been buried away in the midst of our trials and tribulations.

Weeping may endure for the night but joy cometh in the morning (Psalm 39:5)

If you can trust God that no matter what you may be facing in this journey that He is in absolute control of every situation, there is nothing, absolutely, nothing that is too hard, for God to do for you.

“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?”( Jer.32:27)

GOD’S WILL IS ALWAYS TO BLESS YOU

God’s plan for you is to resurrect those dreams that are buried in your life. He wants to restore you.  Trust Him! He wants to do a new thing in your life! He wants to give you a new hope!  Has He ever reminded you of the gifts that He has placed in your life? He is an awesome God.

You know what? He will always remind you that you are talented, you are creative and beautiful! He will tell you you can make it! He will tell you you are a champion! He will give you boldness and strength that that no matter what the devil is trying to do to discourage you that you can do all things because of His unmerited favor is upon  your life (Phil.4:13).

Remember your position in Christ never changes. Your circumstances may change for a while but because of your position in Christ a new season of blessing will come upon you. You need to respond in agreement by faith to what Christ has already purchased for you some 2000 years ago and appropriate every blessing that is already yours.  It’s a done deal!
