Focus on the Family Malaysia is organizing a Mother & Daughter Connection as a special event for mothers and daughters to spend the day together.

“It is an irrefutable fact that a mother’s role, though often taken for granted, is vital in any family. Daughters especially thrive and benefit most from having a strong bond with their mums. Yet, we know that a mother – daughter relationship can also be the most volatile in a family,” said Lee Wee Min, Executive Director of Focus on the Family Malaysia. He further added, “Is it possible for mothers and daughters to have an understanding of one another, and to have a fulfilling relationship that will only grow stronger with time?” “We believe it is,” he emphatically replied.

Mothers have a natural instinct to relate but they may sometimes miss the extra ingredients such as cultivating friendships and providing security to their daughters. Most mothers would find their role more fulfilling if they are able to enjoy the process of nurturing and imparting of values and beliefs while having an intimate and lifelong bond with their daughters.

The Mother & Daughter Connection is designed to provide mothers and daughters with the opportunity to experience more of each other, and to explore the tremendous rewards this relationship can bring. The full-day program will feature meaningful heart-to-heart sessions and exciting activities.
