"In this fast-paced world we live in, it's a real challenge to find time to pray, let alone reflect on God's word. We knew that mobile was the key to overcoming this problem because it's the most effective way to reach people at any place and time," says TJ Tee, co-founder of mobile development studio Alphapod.

"We're about reaching people through the conveniences of the digital age. People engage socially on their mobile devices every day, so it made sense for Pocket Fuel to connect with them in this space," adds Jesse.

With the app, users can easily share inspiring Bible verses on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

For Jesse, the partnership with Alphapod couldn't have come at a better time.

"We started Pocket Fuel through Instagram and got instant traction with our audience so we knew that the app would work well from the get-go. Alphapod are great at what they do and pay a great amount of attention to detail. The guys are humble and so honouring and we love working with them," says Jesse.

“We loved what Pocket Fuel was doing on Instagram and Facebook so we reached out to them with a prototype app we had built. It turned out that they had always wanted to go mobile but didn’t have the expertise or finances to develop an app. When they saw our app in action and saw how clean and easy it was to use, they were sold,” says TJ.

Response to the app has been overwhelming. Word has been downloaded over 10,000 times within its first month of launch.

  1. The verse you chose Lk 8:16  speaks volumes. Recently a friend of mine that has the W app mentioned to me about your work for God. We are working and praying to engage on an initiative that we named Itinerant Church. The idea is to "bring Jesus to people" instead of expecting them to go to church and to Jesus. One of the means to accomplish that would be to use YouTube instructional (arts, painting, music….) to bless people with the gospel message. How do you select the videos you post in this right hand side of the page?

God bless you on His work.
