The Person of the Holy Spirit – Power Explosion Night continued

“I want to tell you about the person who will walk here tonight,” called Ps Remi Akintunde at the Power Explosion Night, “The Holy Spirit.” Ps Remi who is RCCG’s Asia-Pacific Regional Coordinator and his team from the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Nigeria preached in Kuching for a three-night event here in Kuching.

“Give Him your heart, allow Him to touch you,” he added. Jesus Christ was a success throughout His earthly ministry because of His closeness to the Holy Spirit. Without the Holy Spirit, Jesus would not be able to heal the sick.

Luke 4:14 tells, “Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside.”

“In the power of the Holy Spirit,” he said telling, “Immediately He did what no ordinary person can do.” If you want to do extraordinary things, you need the power of the Holy Spirit.

“The Holy Spirit is the earthly father of Jesus Christ,” he impressed. Mary was impregnated by the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit started from the beginning.

Matthew 1:18 tells, “This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit.”

 

Do you believe that? “The Holy Ghost was the heavenly father of Jesus Christ,” he told. Jesus Christ walked with the Holy Spirit right from birth. That’s why you must be close and meet with Him tonight. The Holy Spirit did everything through Jesus Christ, he said.

“If you are sick here today, the Holy Spirit will come upon you; you will not need the touch of the pastors, no need for people to pray for you,” he called. Amen!

You need the Holy Spirit more than you need to breathe. You need the Holy Spirit more than your pastor. You need the Holy Spirit more than anyone in this world. “He gave you power to give us miracles, heal you, protect you,” he said. “He’s the greatest force in the universe.”

Almighty God looked at the Israelites and said, ‘Go out and possessed your possession, Jericho. Go and possess the city.’ “When He speaks, it is done!” When He told them, they were so happy; but when they reached Jericho, the Israelites were not able to enter it. How could you possess a city you cannot enter?

“All He wants is for the people to shout Hallelujah for seven days, and seven times on the last day,” he told. On the seventh day, without anybody pushing the fence, the gate collapsed. The Israelites were able to enter Jericho after they have shouted.

“What fell first?” Ps Remi asked the church and they called, “The Holy Spirit!” He came down. At the last shout of Hallelujah, He came down and sat on the fence of Jericho. After that, it collapsed. “Who can carry the greatest force of the universe?”

“There is no force He cannot destroy – sickness, forces of darkness,” he said. “That is why I command, not in the name of Jesus that the Holy Spirit, the greatest force of the universe sits on your problems now!” Destroy every fence of sickness in your life!

Today, you can give testimony in the name of Jesus. How many of you love the Holy Spirit? Shout ‘I love the Holy Spirit!’

The Holy Ghost is very close to where you are seated. He’s by your side where you are sitting, looking for the opportunity to enter your life. “If you do not invite Him, He will not enter. If you invite Him, He will rush into your life. If you invite Him today, He will enter your life.”

We receive the Holy Spirit by faith. When I tell you to receive the Holy Spirit, you believe it’s coming to you and He will enter, he said. You receive by faith, once you believe and received Jesus Christ; you will never be the same again.

Secondly, to bring Him down upon us, consider what the song is saying, he said as everyone began singing, ‘How great thou art.’ You don’t have to shout. Once you consider, you will be lifted as you enter the realm of the spirit.

 

One way to express that He has filled you is tears falling on your cheeks, he explained as the Holy Spirit takes over, “When you give with all your heart.” You won’t be able to stand alone; you’ll be going down because the Almighty God is very close to you. “Don’t resist it, if you resist He will leave you. He’s a gentle spirit.” Don’t struggle; He’s looking for people who will welcome Him.

Romans 8:11 tells, “And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.”

He impressed how important the verse is. “The bible says if you believe in God, the spirit that helped Jesus resurrect is in us,” he said adding that the Holy Spirit lifts, quickens and inspires you.

“When the Holy Spirit comes upon you and you find yourself on the floor, don’t rush to get up,” he said. The more you stay in Him, the more you will be empowered.

“When it came upon me, I didn’t hurry to stand up. When I got up, I received every power I needed as a Christian,” he told. “Sickness must obey me because I have the power of the Holy Spirit on my side.”

“The Holy Spirit wants to heal some people right now,” he called, describing specific pains and sicknesses. Many received their healing and many people went on stage to glorify God.
