Help us, Malaysian CARE, on this journey of agriculture development with the Orang Asli community!
We need to raise RM1 million to expand the facilities of Ladang MCare. We are thankful to all who contributed through the fundraiser with The Canticle Singers “Ovation Musical Performance” last October, which raised RM300,000.
For this year, we hope to raise the balance through a fundraising dinner and would like to invite corporations, churches and individuals to participate in empowering the Orang Asli community by taking up tables: RM3,000, RM5,000, RM10,000 and RM20,000 per table.
Come for the fundraising dinner, which will be held on 22 August 2013 in JW Marriot Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
Ladang MCare
This 15-acre farm is part of our long-term development work with the Orang Asli Community. It is a Community Development Extension Centre where we conduct sustainable agriculture training, research and demonstrate cultivation of various crops, livestock and technologies.
The expansion of Ladang MCare’s facilities will consist of 2 parts:

Convert the existing office and accommodation building to a farm produce processing workshop.

Build new facilities for accommodation, classrooms and office space. Included in the plan is the set-up of an Education Development Centre to provide training courses for OA teachers, English literacy and math programmes; pre-school education and ICT facilities.
