Jacob obeyed, right or wrong
And was blessed by his father.
Your Will, O Lord, helped along
With acceptance, to go farther.
Be it marriage or land and herd,
He waited and waited to achieve
His desire to get Rachael to wed.
You renamed Jacob as Israel who
Fathered twelve children in all.
Make us walk Your Way, My Lord
Every path is paved by Your Rod.
You have shown paths for needs
You have taught us to grow seeds
Let Your Hands be over us still, God
We need Your Protection O Lord.
Only You Father can bring us Christ
Who is embodied in You in Spirit
And Soul and now in all we meet.
Hallelujah! Your Will and Your Way
