How did Tyrannus Network International come into existence? What was the “spark” that led to its formation?
Tyrannus Network International (TNI) was birthed out of the growing impact and reach of Tyrannus Online Seminary (TOS), a platform dedicated to equipping believers with biblical truth for life and ministry. As TOS began to attract not only theological learners but also Christian professionals seeking purpose beyond profit, the need for a parallel movement became clear – one that would integrate Kingdom principles into the marketplace. The “spark” was a vision: to see business leaders discipled to see their work as worship and their enterprises as tools for God’s Kingdom.
What challenges in the business world or church landscape convinced you that TNI was needed?
We observed a growing divide between Sunday faith and Monday business. Many Christian businesspeople felt isolated, unsure of how to live out their faith in secular professional environments. At the same time, the church often overlooked the strategic role that business could play in advancing the Gospel. TNI emerged as a response to this disconnect – offering a platform where faith and work are seamlessly integrated and where Christian professionals are trained, supported, and commissioned.
Why the name “Tyrannus”? What does it signify in the context of this movement?
The name “Tyrannus” is drawn from Acts 19, where the Apostle Paul taught daily in the Hall of Tyrannus, leading to the widespread dissemination of the Gospel throughout Asia. For us, “Tyrannus” represents intentional, transformative equipping – not within traditional church walls, but in accessible, everyday spaces. In the same spirit, TNI seeks to establish modern-day Halls of Tyrannus in boardrooms, businesses, and industries across the globe.
How did faith and business first intersect in your own journey, and how did that influence the creation of TNI?
Many of us in the founding team came from professional or entrepreneurial backgrounds, yet felt a divine calling to impact more than just profits. Our personal journeys revealed that business is not just a career – it’s a calling. When we discovered how Kingdom values could shape business decisions, employee care, and community impact, we knew this was a message worth multiplying. That conviction became the seed for TNI.
Can you describe the early days of TNI and how it grew into a global movement?
TNI began with a small group of marketplace leaders connected to Tyrannus Online Seminary (TOS). As testimonies of transformation spread, so did the interest. What initially started as a support network quickly evolved into a dynamic movement – expanding from regional groups to international networks through strategic partnerships. Today, TNI is a growing global community of Kingdom-minded professionals.
The first official TNI chapter was launched on 5th March 2025, and it was fully packed from the very beginning. Due to overwhelming interest, we are already preparing to establish the second chapter. Over the next 10 to 12 months, our focus will be on strengthening regional networks. Once we identify strong, value-aligned leaders through our business network, we plan to expand more intentionally into the global arena.
In parallel with the weekly business networking sessions, we are also running our first theology module titled “The Theology of Business – Reframing Your Monday.” This foundational course bridges biblical truth with professional calling, helping members understand business as a God-given platform for mission and transformation. Theology of Business – Reframing Your Monday is a transformative journey designed to help Christians rediscover their work as a sacred calling. This module bridges the divide between Sunday worship and Monday work, equipping believers to integrate faith into their business lives meaningfully and purposefully. Drawing from biblical theology, historical insights, and practical applications, participants will learn to align their work with God’s greater purposes—transforming business into an act of worship.

TNI challenges the notion that faith is private and business is secular. We model a new paradigm – where Christian professionals lead with integrity, generosity, and purpose. Through mentorship, resources, and community, we help believers reclaim their identity as ambassadors of Christ in every boardroom, startup, and industry sector.
How do you see the role of businesspeople in fulfilling the Great Commission?
Businesspeople have unique access to places and people that traditional missionaries may never reach. Through trade, technology, and talent, they build bridges into unreached cultures. By modeling Christ in how they lead and serve, they become living witnesses. TNI equips them to see profit as provision for mission – and leadership as stewardship for the Gospel.
What are some of the long-term goals or dreams for TNI in the next 5 to 10 years?
Over the next decade, TNI aims to:
- Establish TNI Business Lounge in every major region to support local leaders.
- Launch a Kingdom Entrepreneurship Accelerator for values-based startups.
- Partner with global mission agencies to integrate business as mission strategies.
- Publish research and training materials to shape thought leadership in Kingdom business through the e-Magazine called THE MIRROR
- Raise a new generation of Christian CEOs, educators, and innovators grounded in biblical worldview.
How do you respond to people who say faith and business should remain separate?
We respond with both conviction and compassion. Faith is not a compartment – it’s a compass. Jesus is Lord of all, not just of Sundays. When faith informs business, the result is ethical leadership, just practices, and lasting impact. Rather than dividing the sacred from the secular, we believe God calls us to integrate truth and grace into every aspect of life – including commerce.

It all begins with the right belief system – knowing who you are in Christ and what He can do through your obedience. And yes, your business absolutely can make a Kingdom impact. Every business, no matter the size or stage, is a potential platform for God’s presence, purpose, and provision. It’s not about how big your company is – it’s about how fully you surrender it to Him. When you commit your business to the Lord, He can use it to change lives, influence culture, transform communities, and fund Kingdom initiatives far beyond anything you could imagine.
What role does generosity, prayer, and servant leadership play in the TNI community?
These values are the heartbeat of TNI. Generosity reflects our trust in God’s provision and our commitment to steward resources for His Kingdom. Prayer anchors our decisions, aligns our direction with God’s will, and invites His presence into every area of our business and leadership. Servant leadership defines how we lead—not to be served, but to serve others with humility and grace.
We live by the Kingdom principle that “the last shall be first” (Matthew 20:16) and follow Christ’s example that “whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant” (Matthew 20:26–28).
