REVEL North and REVEL South Coming Very Soon, Allowing Christians from the Northern and Southern Region of Malaysia to Experience the Tangible and Powerful Presence of God

For more than a decade, Global Worship Malaysia have brought very much looked-forward-to worship events for Malaysian Christians. Last year’s REVEL event in Kuala Lumpur was particularly memorable, where the powerful presence came mightily upon worshippers. The event was not just a gathering of people praising and worshipping God; it was also much-needed refreshing for the attendees (read our report on it here).

Intergenerational prayer during REVEL 2022

This year, the REVEL event will also be hosted in the Northern and Southern regions, and the Northern one will be held very soon, at the end of this month. Shamini Ruth, a leading figure of Global Worship Malaysia and the Organising Chairperson of REVEL shares; ‘The hosting of God’s presence in exuberant worship in the central region during REVEL 2022 was a very memorable time, and we got much feedback on how people were blessed by it. This year, in 2023, we are igniting the Northern Region of Malaysia.’

REVEL Northern Region is scheduled to be hosted by Georgetown Baptist Church, Pulau Pinang on 31st August 2023. It will be represented by worship teams and pastors from Perak, Pulau Pinang, Kedah, and Perlis, who will be coming together to worship and pray for God’s blessing and protection on the nation and the Malaysian Church as a whole.

REVEL Southern Region will be hosted by Calvary Church, Johor Bahru on 23rd September 2023. Participating states will include Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, and Johor. Each event will feature close to 10 hours of continuous worship. The hope is that eventually Christians from every state in Malaysia will be given the opportunity to be part of this blessed event.

Shamini explained, ‘We will be working on East Coast and East Malaysia in 2024. This is an offering of praise from the north to south, east and west now gallantly streaming in intrinsic worship.’

‘Let this be a culmination of God’s people in geographical spheres immersing ourselves in His presence and raising extravagant Worship like never before all across this nation,’ Patrick Leong, well-known worship leader and a member of the REVEL core team conveyed. ‘The time has come for God’s people to worship Him in spirit and in truth, and to offer Him a greater sacrifice of praise like never before.’
