Objective
1. To provide a mentoring platform for young Christian men
2. Deal with issues they are facing in their jobs and businesses
3. To help them live out their Christian faith in the marketplace
4. To be the salt and light in the world
Programme:
Mentors and mentees will be grouped on the day of the dinner based on varying reasons ie. location, interest, etc.
1. Kick-off meeting – 7pm, Sunday 13 April 2014 at D’Fong Restaurant (previously Summer Palace opposite Tropicana City Mall)
2. From April till October – 6 meetings at times of their own choosing (meeting follows a syllabus on mentoring.
3. Closing meeting – Sunday 15 November 2014
Process
1. Up to six M² groups with one mentor and between three and five mentees each
2. Each group will meet once a month for three hours over six months
3. The meeting will be chaired by one of the mentees in rotation
4. Mentor is to guide the discussion and give his input and counsel
Suggested Topics
1. Managing and leading self
2. Managing and leading others
3. Managing and leading groups and organizations
4. Values and character of Christians in the marketplace
5. Temptations; sex money and power
6. Success as a Christian; Work-life balance
Takeaway
1. Each Group will produce a write up on their experience; their take-away from the process and proposal going forward
2. These write-ups will be compiled into a booklet
3. At the closing meeting will decide what M² will do next All application need to be submitted latest by 10 April 2014. More details to be provided once all mentees have been selected (only for those in Klang Valley).

Cheam Tatt Inn – MD of EMC
Malaysia – EMC Malaysia has appointed former Dataprep Holdings executive director and CEO, Cheam Tat Inn (pictured) to the role of managing director with the appointment made effective today. In the role, he reports to EMC Southeast Asia, Australia & New Zealand president, David Webster.
Cheam brings to the organization more than 25 years of industry experience in IT. Previous roles held incorporated numerous core functions such as sales, marketing, and business management. He has also completed stints at Sun Microsystems, Nortel Networks, Arcadian Wireless, Compaq Computers and IBM. “Cheam’s breadth and depth of experience in driving established local businesses to market leadership positions and a strong focus on world-class customer service will help customers maximize their information assets, capitalize on cloud computing technologies and leverage big data opportunities,” Webster said.
EMC provides information infrastructure products, solutions and services that help store, manage, protect and analyze their information assets.

Lee Min Oon- Partner KPMG
Lee Min On is a Partner of KPMG Malaysia and an Executive Director with the Internal Audit, Risk and Compliance Services (“IARCS”) practice of KPMG Business Advisory Sdn Bhd.
His experience includes leading engagements pertaining to Board Advisory Services (e.g. corporate governance, directors’ remuneration, board charters, board committees, etc), enterprise risk management (“ERM”), risk based internal audit, operational audit and internal control assessment for clients in Malaysia and within the Asia Pacific region. He has been with the Firm for the last 31 years and has worked with, and advised, blue chip companies, and has helped clients to establish risk management and internal audit functions, including the training of Board members, Management teams and internal auditors. Min On also co-authored certain of the Firm’s thought-leadership materials.
He and his wife, Pixie, worship at Damansara Utama Methodist Church, Petaling Jaya.
Sreedhar Subramaniam – MD of ABN
Sreedhar Subramaniam has over 27 years of experience in consulting and senior management, about half of which was with Arthur Andersen, a major international management consulting group. His experience encompassed corporate strategy, change management, financial and privatization consulting services for Governments and companies operating in a wide spectrum of industries. The remaining half has been with senior management positions within the media, business process outsourcing and information services industries. He is currently the CEO of Asian Broadcasting Network (ABN), Malaysia’s first digital cable TV and internet service provider.
Through his many years in the consulting and corporate world he sensed a need for character building and became a Consultant with the Character Training Institute, a non-profit organization based in Oklahoma involved in implementing character development programmes in Malaysia and the South East Asia region. He also has had many years of Christian leadership role within the church and outside. He has previously served as a board member and a member of the missions committee at Glad Tidings Assembly of God. He is the ALERT Cadet (a Christian uniformed group for fathers and sons) Regional Coordinator for Austral Asia holding the rank of Major, and a member of the Local Committee for the Institute in Basic Life Principles. He is also a Haggai Institute Alumni and has previously served as a National Board Member of the Haggai Institute Alumni Association of Malaysia.
Mr Subramaniam has a Master of Business Administration from York University (Schulich School of Business), Canada, concentrating in corporate finance and cost control systems. He also holds a science degree, from the University of Toronto, specializing in Computer Science, a major in Commerce and a minor in Mathematics. He is married to Lee Yen and have 4 wonderful children.
James Kui – Public Accountant
James Kui is a Fellow Member of the:-
(i) Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales
(ii) Malaysian Institute of Taxation
(iii) Malaysian Institute of Accountants
James Kui did his Accountancy Articleship with a National Accounting Firm in United Kingdom. After obtaining his professional degree as a Chartered Accountant, he worked as an Audit Manager with an International Accounting Firm and a medium sized Accounting Firm in Malaysia for six years prior to starting his own accounting practice in 1988. He had also served as a Sub-Committee Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) which was established as the National Accountancy Body in Malaysia under the Accountants ACT 1967.
James Kui has wide professional experience in varied industries and business sectors which include Public Listed Companies, Multi-national Corporations, Co-operative Societies, Insurance and Finance Companies. Presently, he is a Managing Proprietor of a medium sized Accounting Firm and a partner of an LLP Accounting Firm.
James Kui and his family worship at Calvary Church since1982. He was born again and spirit filled in 1977 while studying in England. He joined FGBMF Ministry in 1989 and had held various positions in FGBMF Organization.
Richard Ling – Founder and Chairman of LINACO
Mr Richard Ling is a successful businessman who was instrumental in pioneering the modern coconut milk processing industry in Malaysia back in the 80s, garnering various awards for entrepreneurship. Today, he heads the LINACO GROUP OF COMPANIES – a rapidly emerging group with diverse businesses in the food manufacturing sector, with exports to more than 40 countries worldwide.
Orphaned at a young age and growing up in a neighborhood amongst the less fortunate of society, RICHARD accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in his teens at the local church. His life testimony is a series of supernatural breakthroughs, struggle and rising above daunting circumstances, through which God has gradually transformed his character and honed his giftings and skills to be an effective instrument in the spheres of influence where he has been placed.
As a believer in the markeplace, RICHARD fully believes that integrity in doing business is perhaps a more powerful testimony of the Christian faith than any sermon than he could ever preach from the pulpit.
He is a sought after speaker for evangelistic outreaches, and actively serves as a National Director for Evangelism in FGBMF Malaysia, while also supporting many other ministry initiatives for the poor and marginalized.
Wong Hong Meng – retired from banking and stockbroking
Dr. Wong Hong Meng, aged 67, is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Company Secretary with an economics degree from University of Malaya, an MBA from Cranfield and a DBA from University of South Australia. He has more than 30 years experience in management consultancy, merchant banking, commercial banking and stock broking. He took early retirement from the corporate world in January 1999 to be available for the Lord’s use. Since then he has devoted most of his time in the work of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship where he sits as a member of its Governing Council. His involvement in the corporate world is currently limited to non-executive directorships in two listed companies. In addition he sits on the board of an investment management company and the investment committee of its various unit trust funds.
