The annual KVBC & EPS conferences are just a few weeks away.
This year, the KVBC is featuring respected Old Testament scholar and preacher Dr John Woodhouse.
* The Bible Conferences cater to anyone who is interested to dig deeper into God’s Word. Dr Woodhouse will be expounding from 2 Samuel on the kingship of David, bringing us deep into its original contexts as well as drawing out implications for Christians today. These talks will be especially suitable for anyone looking for help in their OT reading.
Free admission at all 3 locations for the Bible conferences:
1. Klang Valley Bible Conference: Heritage Centre, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, on the 8-10 Sep 2014, at 8:15pm.
2. Penang Bible Conference: Wesley Methodist Church, Georgetown, Penang on the 11-12 Sep 2014, at 8:15pm
3. Ipoh Bible Conference: Elim Gospel Hall, Ipoh, Perak on the 15-17 Sep, 2014, at 8:15pm
*At the Expository Preaching Seminar (EPS), Dr Woodhouse will expound from 1 Timothy on perspectives and principles that are important to both beginner as well as seasoned preachers-teachers. About the speaker
Rev Dr John Woodhouse is a distinguished theologian and Bible expositor. He earned a Bachelor of Science and worked in geology before studying his degrees in theology, including a Ph.D. He lectured for many years at Moore Theological College in Sydney while also pasturing a local church. He later became Principal of Moore College from 2002 until his retirement from the college last year. While his academic focus is on the Old Testament, he has published commentaries on Colossians and Philemon as well as on 1 and 2 Samuel, in addition to articles on both the Old and New Testaments. He is married to Moya and they have four children and 13 grandchildren.
