John 15:16: ‘You did not chose me but I have chosen you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruits-FRUITS THAT WILL LAST-and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you’
IT IS GOD’S WILL FOR EVERY ONE OF HIS CHILDREN TO BEAR FRUITS FOR GOD WHILE WE LIVE IN THIS WORLD…. AND WHATEVER WE DO FOR GOD WILL AFFECT OUR DESTINY ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN…..
Since we are ETERNAL BEINGS born of the Spirit of God and our final destiny is eternity, whatever we do in the body on earth, bearing fruits for God will bring us eternal rewards in Heaven, a lasting benefit for our souls.
No eye has seen and no ear has heard!! (1Cor.2:9)
Dead works, good or bad, are works that follow us to the grave (worldly). Either it is evil, selfish and benefits us on earth only!!
Your aeroplanes, mansions, titles, physical healings and even if you are raised from the dead, if not used for the Glory of God, are called ‘Dead Works’ in the Bible.
Let us move from selfishness to pouring ourselves out for His Glory, from inwardness (Self-gain) to be a blessing.
Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God (Heb.6:1)
LET US MOVE BEYOND THE SALVATION OF OUR SOULS TO BEARING FRUITS FOR THE GLORY OF OUR CREATOR KING!!
To continue to work out our salvation with fear and trembling..
Good works AFTER RECEIVING CHRIST BY HIS GRACE, are sharing the Gospel to the unbelievers, services that benefit humanity; to give God Glory (Just as it was with Martha).
We are also called to draw nearer to God by His love and allow ourselves to be purified and sanctified by God’s Holy Fire to build holiness and Godly Character in us for our glory in heaven (As evidenced by the Fruits of the Spirit – Gal.5:22-23), and thru our intimacy with Him!! (Just as it was with MARY).
GOD IS PREPARING OUR SOULS FOR ETERNITY!!
YES!! REWARDS AND GLORY (the promise of sitting with Jesus at the right hand of God) ARE WAITING FOR YOU IN HEAVEN, O BLESSED ONES OF GOD…
NOW GO AND BEAR FRUITS THAT WILL LAST!!
Rev.3:21 : ‘To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne…’

Pastor KB Chan is an anointed worship leader, a songwriter and Christian recording artiste with a Psalmist anointing. He has so far released seven Christian albums and he has spent his time ministering to Churches all over the country, Singapore and Sarawak.
Baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1987, his life has been a good testimony of God’s grace and provision in times of needs. He is a dialysis patient for 24 years and both his kidneys have been removed for 14 years now. Doctors gave him a few years to live after they removed his polycystic kidneys in 2003.
