“God will start something new in your life,” called Ps Gbenga Kotila to the masses at the ‘Fresh Encounter with God’ evangelistic rally in the City SIB, Kuching Friday night, March 8, 2013.
Ps Gbenga Kotila is the Senior Pastor of Center for Reality International Church, Ibadan, Nigeria. He has been preaching in the state since 2005, reaching out through rallies, and church visits in the rural and urban areas.
“Today we’re trusting God for a word. God is here today to speak to you; a word that will change you,” he continued. The bible is the same today, yesterday, and forever.
“I have good news for you. The Lord changes circumstances in the name of Jesus, it doesn’t matter what issue you’re facing,” Ps Gbenga said.
He told about an encounter with a woman who asked how long it took for this change. It depends on how ready you are, he answered. God can change things in 24 hours, 365 days, or now! If you say you are ready and your mind is not ready, you’re not ready.
Hebrews 11:6 says, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
Are you ready for a season of reward? God blesses you so that you are a blessing to others. God says I will make you a blessing.
This is a season of refreshing, restoration and reward, Whatever it is you are desiring from God, when you come into His presence, come with an expectation. Expectation is a mother of manifestation.
From Genesis 1:1-3, God said ‘Let there be light.’ In 2 Corinthians 4:6, For God who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
In the beginning, God. John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
God is involved in everything that has to do with my beginning. The children of Israel were in bondage. God said to Abraham, your seed shall sojourn in a strange land for 40 years. I will deliver them with my mighty hand.
The reason the devil hates you is because of what God has declared in the beginning. God created something in the beginning and it will not be bad. God is a good God. In between Genesis 1 and 2, what God created was good.
The thief comes to kill, steal and destroy. The devil knows that God will manifest again; appear to you again and again. He will show Himself again. “I’m a God of again and again because He wants you to make a gain,” he said.
He’s not tired, to show the best for you. He wants you to arrive to your destiny. He will show up once again. God is a God of second chances. “We are being changed into His image from glory to glory,” he added.
“God stepped in the second time to clear the mess of the devil. He’s not tired about doing that; that’s why He is God,” Ps Gbenga said. He will show up again. God will restore back your health, finances; He will give you peace.
In Psalm 40, David waited patiently for the Lord. I’m not waiting for anybody; I’m waiting for the Lord. “He will put a new song; the old song is passing away. No more, full stop. The season of change has come, because you are destined to laugh, designed for joy and experience great things,
“Are you ready to enjoy it? If you know the truth, you will be free. Who is the devil stealing from? Those who are ignorant. The moment you have the knowledge of God, you will be strong. When you know your God, you will take over the dominion of the devil,” he added.
Isaiah 61:1 says, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”
When the Spirit comes, restoration comes, reward comes.
Ps Gbenga Kotila was in Kuching from March 4- 11, 2013. During his visit, he ministered at many churches and venues in and out of the city. The rally was organized by Excellers Network at the City SIB, Kuching.
