EXPLAIN THE TRINITY: An Upcoming National Conference to Illuminate the Heart of Christian Belief

We live in an increasingly relativistic and pluralistic world where foundational truths and the core doctrines of our faith are increasingly being challenged. In view of this, Explain International is inviting believers, seekers, and skeptics alike to a national conference titled “EXPLAIN THE TRINITY: Grasping the Divine Mystery.”

Scheduled to take place from Friday, July 18, to Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Full Gospel Tabernacle/Wisma Eagles in Subang Jaya, this two-day gathering promises to bring rich theological insight, robust dialogue, and clarity to a vital Biblical truth. It aims to equip believers with a deeper theological understanding to defend the Gospel, the doctrine of the Trinity, and foster unity and spiritual growth among churches and Christians across the nation.

Scheduled in July, the conference’s goals are multifold, not least to bring a much-needed clarity to a central but often misunderstood tenet of our faith.

A Timely Response to a Growing Gap

Why a conference on the Trinity?

A recent poll of the Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University found that only 11% of adult Americans, and merely 16% of so-called Christians, believe in an affirmation of the Trinity – the main Christian doctrine that God is one being in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

This sobering reality suggests a global need for more theological literacy. In much of the globe, including Southeast Asia, the Trinity is often either not properly understood, ignored, or rejected. Recognizing the need for clarity in this central tenet of our faith, Explain International has taken the initiative to host a conference that not only defends but also celebrates this essential doctrine of Christianity.

Why It Matters

In an increasingly relativistic world, the Trinity remains a bold declaration of a God who is not an impersonal force, but a relational being – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in eternal communion. Understanding this truth helps us grasp the Gospel more deeply, appreciate the uniqueness of Jesus Christ, and live in the power of the Spirit. The Trinity a reality to worship and to know God as Trinity is to know love at its source.
