We are not called to adopt, but we are all called to do something. In view of this, Focus on the Family Malaysia will be showing a special one night Charity Movie Screening of The Drop Box on 29 May 2016.
About the Film
The second documentary of Focus on the Family’s Reclamation Series; The Drop Box tells the story of South Korean Pastor Lee Jong-rak and his heroic efforts to embrace and protect the most vulnerable members of society. It is a heart-wrenching exploration of the physical, emotional and financial toll associated with providing refuge to orphans that would otherwise be abandoned on the streets. But The Drop Box is also a story of hope—a reminder that every human life is sacred and worthy of love.
South Korea is not the only country grappling with the issue of orphan care. Around the world, there are more than 150 million orphans waiting for forever families to call their own – including Malaysia.

“When people discover what The Drop Box is and represents, they will be deeply inspired. I was captivated and moved to tears by this story.”
Stephen Kendrick, Filmmaker & Creator of Fireproof and Courageous“Without fanfare, one ordinary man in a poor neighbourhood of Seoul, Korea, has now saved almost 600 babies from certain death. He embodies the grace that I write about. I’ll never forget my visit to Pastor Lee’s home, a day I relived over and over as I watched the film The Drop Box.”
Philip Yancey, Author of What’s So Amazing About Grace?
