About the Church
C3 Church Subang is located in Impian Meridien, USJ 1, Subang Jaya. The slightly over one and the half year old church took off as a connect group not too long ago at a home of a member in Damansara. It then evolved into a Church as God opened doors for the Church to be planted and started at its current location. The Church was truly blessed when they were offered a lot at that particular location in Subang at zero costs inclusive of renovations. C3 Church Subang officially opened its doors in January 2011. The Senior Pastors of the church are Pastor Clarance Shashi and his wife Deborah Clarance. C3 Subang is part of the C3 (Christian City Church) International church planting organization with its headquarters based in Sydney Australia. The mission of the movement, not just in Malaysia but internationally is to connect people to God and their destiny.
Upon entering the church one will find that it is vibrant and has many members from different age groups coming together to worship the Lord. Although it is a small church, there is much potential in growth. Their small worship room is filled up during their services and is filled with many enthusiastic people who love to sing. Their singing of worship brings about a passion which surrounds the room with a sense utter energy and harmony.

On this particular Sunday morning service at C3, Pastor Clarance touched on the miracles of Jesus in the book of John, and the fact that John uses the word signs instead of miracles. He chooses to use this word because it points to something greater beyond the obvious. He starts by talking about the sign where Jesus feeds the multitude of more than 5000 people, the only miracle that is mentioned in all four Gospels which can be found in the book of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Pastor Clarance says, “If it is mentioned in all four Gospels, there is definitely a richness that He wants us to benefit from, so that every time we read it, we may learn or see something.” The big picture can be found when one does a study of all four. In his sermon, he told the story about after John the Baptist was beheaded, that Jesus went alone to be with his disciples. All of a sudden there is a multitude of people more than 5000 people who come looking for Jesus and He was moved with compassion by them and healed them. He puts aside His personal agenda, His tiredness and looked at these people with compassion. “Jesus did not see them as an annoyance despite what he was going through like how we would when we are in grief. Condemnation leads to death and hopelessness while compassion leads to life, healing, transformation and restoration, and that is the look that Jesus has when he sees us sitting here today”, says Pastor Clarance.
God knows what you need even before you ask Him. In Matthew 6:25 and onwards it says, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?”. “Parents do not only feed their children or clothe them when their children ask them. If these are the things that parents do naturally, how much more does our Heavenly Father”, adds Pastor Clarance.
Based on whatever you could be facing and whatever circumstances we must trust Jesus. “We have got one hand holding on to God and another hand holding on to the world and the worlds way of doings things because “what if”. God is calling you to obedience and asking you to change the way you do things and let go of these things, trusting Him totally”, he says. Pastor Clarance then ends his sermon by saying that we all have a choice and we should give Jesus our all, because miracles happen when we choose to obey.
