To forgive those who struck Him.

Those who nailed and crowned
Him with thorns were pardoned.
God dedicated His Son to give us
Grace which settled law and wrath.
And Mercy took over and saved
Us whenever repentance was done
To atone pardon from Our Savior.
Who was resurrected the third day.
Peace attained in the end to raise
Our hands to glorify God Almighty.
