As Chinese New Year approaches and we gather with our family members near and far, it is always good to remind ourselves of what God has to say about family.

Here are 10 Bible  verses to keep in mind during this wonderful festive season:

 

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)

 

 

Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you. (Exodus 20:12)

 

Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. (Colossians 3:13)

 

 

However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband. (Ephesians 5:33)
