John 1 :12

but as many as received him , to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.

He gives power (of inheritance ) to be called his children. This is the greatest gift that you and I possess in this world. And this gift will not only see you through in this world but it will take you to eternity.

However, although God has deposited a gift, a treasure inside of you, it is within your power to exploit this gift and bring it forth in your life. The secret is to keep the dreams and desires God has placed in your heart alive all the time. It’s God’s earnest desire for you to prosper and live a life that is excellent and above average. (John 10:10 Abundant Life.) Therefore, as children of God we are to live our lives to the fullest, pursuing our passions and dreams.

THE ENEMY WILL ALWAYS OPPOSE YOU

You know what? Throughout our lives we will always have forces opposing us, trying to prevent us from reaching our God given goals and destiny. The enemy attacking us! The enemy discouraging us! The enemy deceiving us! I wonder how many of our dreams have been demolished and buried away in the dust of our trials and tribulations?

Despite the trials you are going through! Despite what the adversary is throwing at you, never let satan push you of the cliff. Your faith, confidence and hope should hang on to what God has promised us in this life.

Romans 8:37

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Isa 42:16

“Along unfamiliar paths I will guide you I will turn the darkness into light before you”.

Whenever you feel that all hell has broken loose in your life, please be reminded that satan hasn’t snatched the steering wheel from God as yet. And you bet! The Alpha and the Omega is still in absolute control. Even Jesus was not spared from the assaults of the enemy. Three times Jesus spoke to Satan: “It is WRITTEN!”, and Satan’s schemes were defeated.

There is great power in the spoken word of God. And we need to deploy this power, this lethal weapon that is available to us to counter attack every scheme of the enemy that comes against us.

Isaiah 59:19

“When the Enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of God will raise a standard against him!”

WRONG THEOLOGY

There is a wrong theology that is going around which teaches that if we are in Christ nothing should happen to us and that we should be sailing on a bed of roses. Satan can work through humans who spread false philosophical and theological ideas.

Remember always victory is born out of struggle. God always accomplishes much more through our trials and pain than while we are sailing through our comfort zone.

You know what? It is the wounded and hurt people that God would use ultimately to carry His heart to the nations. Because they have gone through the crushing and breaking process. They have gone through the offence test! They have gone through the warfare test! And in the process God worked out His character in them as they experienced the reality of God’s healing power in their lives. There is no greater experience than the one who has gone through trials and tribulation. There is no tougher character than the one who has felt the pain and hurts in their lives

GOD WILL ALWAYS SHOW YOU THE MOUNTAIN TOP AND NOT THE VALLEY

Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

God is not only a positive God. He is God of encouragement to His children. Despite all the discouragement and damage the enemy tries to inflict into you through this journey. God’s plan for you is to resurrect those dreams that may be lying dormant in your low self-esteem. He wants to restore you! He wants to do a new thing in your life! He wants to give you a new hope!

God will always remind you that you are a unique created being in His image and likeness. He will remind you of the gifts that He has deposited inside of you. He will always tell you that you are talented and creative and beautiful. He will show you that you are an achiever and not a failure. He will give you boldness and strength that you can do all things through His strength, no matter what is trying to discourage you.

Phil.4:12

He is a good God! He will always show you the mountain tops to encourage you and not the valley to discourage you.

HE IS A POSSIBLE GOD DESPITE WHAT YOU ARE SEEING

Your situation may seem very unfair and very unkind to you currently. The devil may have demolished your God-given potentials and derailed you away from taping into God’s blessings. Let me tell you that your season will not remain the same forever. Your season will have to change just like every other season that changes in the natural. And it will change when God says so.

You know what? When God puts His signature on your life, Heaven will start to smile at you! Even if it breaks every rule in His book, His blessings will start to chase after you. Remember it’s not how you started that matters! It’s how you finish that counts!!

Psalm 30:5

” Weeping may endure for the night but joy cometh in the morning.”

If you can trust God and believe in Him, that He is in absolute control over your situation, there is nothing too hard for God to do for you!

Jeremiah 31:13:

“God Will Turn Mourning Into Gladness And Sorrow into Joy.”

STOP LOOKING BACK

The scripture says, Lot ran, his daughters close behind. “But his wife, from behind him, looked back, and she became a pillar of salt” (Genesis 19:26)

Many people do not realize that there is a tremendous danger in looking back. Stop looking back and recalling your past. What is it that God has already said, it’s finished ! It’s over! And you go back and try to live in the past?

Listen! What is in front of you is far greater than what is behind you. It’s not what you are going to in life that will destroy you, it’s what you go back to that will ultimately kill you. God is not a condemning God! Remember whatever mistakes you may have made in the past, it doesn’t mater! Learn to receive God’s forgiveness. Don’t allow the negative voices of the enemy which tells you that God cannot bless you anymore because of your past. Those are the lies that can destroy your future. The more you dwell on the enemy’s lies the more cabbage he will throw at you.

As long as you are doing your best you don’t have to live condemned! You don’t have to struggle and perform to earn God’s blessings. See yourself as God sees you with mercy and grace!

WHAT YOU THINK IS WHAT YOU WILL END UP BEING.

You know what? You are in control of your “Thinker”. What you think is what you believe and what you believe will produce after its own kind. Everything must reproduce after its own kind, because it is a law from God. (Gen. 1) Nowhere in the history of the world will this law ever change. Therefore make a positive declaration over your life each day without fail.

Because the word of God says in Isaiah 61:7 “We will eat the fruit of our words”. If you want to be liberated today, you need to take authority over your life and break some strongholds that are keeping you from taping into God’s richness. You must know who you are in Christ and who Christ is in you.

You need to have an image of a champion inside of you. You need to know deep down inside you that you are a victor and not a victim.
