Kingdom of God (KOG) started 6 years ago with Pas. Bernard from FGA Taiping and Pas.Justin from River of Life Singapore at its helm. A gathering of churches, KOG currently has a network of about 12 churches. Its aim is to reach local and small churches to get them on fire and hopes to see the anointing of God flow in all churches no matter what the size.
A recent gathering of several churches in the KOG network held at Foh San Restaurant in Ipoh to promote their 6th upcoming camp. With the theme ‘A Fresh Encounter’, this camp will be held from the 3rd to the 5th of June at the Lost World of Tambun Ipoh. ‘A Fresh Encounter’ will feature Dr. Vernon Falls, Pas Margareth Falls, Pas. Bernard The, Sr. Pas. Justin Leong, Sr. Pas.Alan Tan, Ps Adrian Tan and Ps. Terence Jedidiah Poh as camp speakers in this three days two nights event.
According to Elder William from the Church of Genting, one of the ‘generals’ of KOG who was present during the gathering in Ipoh, ‘When God shows up, we lay down our crowns, all of us are here according to His divine purpose. When God calls in the spirit, people will show up. We want to be a blessing to the local churches. The camps that we organize are subsidized so that it will be at price that the majority of people can afford. Last year we had about 200 campers, a hundred more than before. This year we are expecting 250 people. It is amazing how God has multiplied what we are doing, and He brings increase as we continue to be faithful”.
Pas Bernard The who was also present at the gathering said ‘We are here to glorify Him. It is not the size of the church that matters, but the size of our hearts. Sometimes big numbers does not mean big hearts. We cannot do it alone, we need one another in the Kingdom of God’
KOG hopes to reach out and uplift the churches in Malaysia, and to unite churches to be the body of Christ that we have been called to be.
It is a time to be refreshed, to rejoice, and to receive a fresh encounter with God. For those who want to join the camp, contact Kit Yan at 016 6072200 for further details.
