Raised in a Christian family, 21-years old Tricia Lim drew near to God when she moved away from her home in Sabah to study in Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman (KTAR) in Kuala Lumpur.
“I could not rely on my family and I did not know anyone,” said Tricia who reflected that she had to start from scratch in making friends.
When she was in college, she bumped into a prayer meeting when they were about to start worshipping.
“One of them was holding the Bible and I thought it was a dictionary!” laughed Tricia. “They invited me to join their group and that’s how I got to know about the Christian Fellowship,”
And her faith grew from joining the CF, having a bunch of close-knitted friends. Now, she is the Vice President of the Christian Fellowship, heading the Evangelism and Follow-up team.
“I see God moving here. It is encouraging to see about 100 people turning up for meetings,” said Tricia. Many lecturers were of the same faith as well in KTAR.
KTAR and UTAR is one of the biggest colleges and universities in Kuala Lumpur with 16000 students in Kuala Lumpur alone, and 27000 students nationwide.
“Denomination barriers are breaking down in CF,” said Tricia believing campus revival can happen in KTAR looking at the number of students.
Desiring to serve God, Tricia has a heard to serve him part-time or full-time in the future although she is still exploring on what to serve God in.
“I am taking one step at a time now,” said Tricia.
A journalism student, she is currently looking forward to join a twinning program in UK for three months for journalism degree.
How Tricia grew from faith to faith in God. If you feel that your faith is not strong, don’t worry because God will surely build and complete the perfect work of faith in you.

3 I thank my God every time I remember you. 4 In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 6 being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Just fix your eyes on Jesus and He will do the rest in perfecting your faith!
Hebrews 12:2
Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
