The new album, Revival Waves, is available worldwide and compiles 10 tracks from throughout their eventful history, all of which were previously only available in Youtube. One of the first tracks, ‘Gateway to Heaven‘, was produced in late October 2020.
Throughout this creative process, Shamini identified the talents like composers, arrangers, songwriters, musicians, graphic designers, and video editor within the team and brought them into the music production and leverage their God-given skills in their ministry for God’s Kingdom.
The team is confident that the track ‘Do Not Fear‘, written and composed by Abi Lee, will be an immersive listening experience for the listeners.
Revival Waves also features the title track in Global / Multi (10) Language version where the voices coming from various part of the world. It is evident here in this project that these beautiful voices represented were spirit-filled and -led in the way each expressed their worship unto the Lord through this song.
The composers/arrangers shares their thoughts and experiences on the production project of the album:
Chuan
It was an interesting experience working on the songs over the pandemic season as the musicians had to work on the songs remotely, somewhat independent of each other. Despite the limitations, every time the various parts and instruments were put together, more often than not, the outcome was better than the original intention. We never stuck to any particular music style or sound but rather allowed the music to serve the heart of the songs.
Faith Sheema
I truly enjoyed working on this project from its conception to completion. The music arrangement was inspired by the Holy Spirit.
Noel Ko
The most memorable experience was working on “Gift of Hope” where initial inspiration was lacking, but later transformed into a collaborative effort with Sheema, it resulted a whole new layer of vocal diversity. Late-night sessions ensued, refining details until the song blossomed into its final form that you’re hearing now.
Abi Lee
The process of arranging and producing these songs in the album has broadened my experience as an arranger and also a believer by weaving together the testaments of God’s goodness and grace.
