Jennifer from Kuching was at the Fire 2014 Ablaze for Jubilee Conference in Singapore recently, shared her experience at the conference. She is one of the many Malaysians who went to the conference, including others from the South East Asia region.

In his message, Evg Reinhard Bonnke talked about how dangerous unbelief is saying, “It is an insult to God.” He was talking from 2 Kings 7 about Elisha – God’s spokesman, and an officer – the King’s spokesman.

2 Kings 7: 1-2,

“Elisha replied, “Hear the word of the Lord. This is what the Lord says: About this time tomorrow, a seah of the finest flour will sell for a shekel and two seahs of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria.” The officer on whose arm the king was leaning said to the man of God, “Look, even if the Lord should open the floodgates of the heavens, could this happen?”

“You will see it with your own eyes,” answered Elisha, “but you will not eat any of it!”

Continues:

2 Kings 7: 17,

“Now the king had put the officer on whose arm he leaned in charge of the gate, and the people trampled him in the gateway, and he died, just as the man of God had foretold when the king came down to his house.”

“Faith in God makes us fearless,” the Evangelist said. “Fear is the darkroom where people develop their negatives,” he continued. God can turn the negative into the positive.

Evg Bonnke shared that faith is not presumption but an assumption. “You assume that God is faithful and the Lord is doing it,” he said telling faith is an immune system. It fights all the fiery darts of the enemy. Cast your cares upon Jesus; He cares for you.

He prayed that we may turn away from unbelief and turn to faith. Faith is based upon the Word of God.

Evg Bonnke told of a reporter who said he was preaching from a book 2000 years old and asked if the Book needed to be updated.

“The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is behind us; but He is also ahead of us. He is before us and He needs no updating. He is very, very current,” he answered the moment the Holy Spirit touched his heart. Amen! That’s why we are here today! We have a God who is current! Jesus is alive!

A man asked why he called the Bible – Good News. The man said news was what he saw on television or current news; and the gospel was ‘good history’, not Good News.

“Well, I have Good News for you. When the gospel is preached, it happens. When the gospel is preached, it becomes an event; it happens! It’s a happening! I preached the gospel and Jesus saves. Somebody right here feels it,” he answered. Chains are broken. Fears are gone. Something happens and that is Good News! It is more current than something you see on television.

“I believe with all of my heart every Word the Lord has spoken. I believe Him. I may not understand everything but I believe it!” he continued. Because He is the One who brings it to pass.

He described how faith is like a horse. Some people just groom and feed it. He advised, take the horse out of the stable and saddle it. Jump into that saddle and take a furious ride – it works! God is faithful and His Word is true.

Evg Bonnke was speaking on the first night of the conference. Evangelists Daniel Kolenda, along with Todd White and Dr Chauncey Crandall shared and led the church to a fire tunnel on Saturday afternoon.

“It was unlike any fire tunnel I’ve ever been through,” said Jennifer. She recalled how the fire of God filled the hall even before Evangelist Daniel Kolenda finished praying. The Evangelist did not get to share his message that afternoon because the Holy Spirit took over.

The speakers for the School of Evangelism and conference were Evangelists Reinhard Bonnke, Daniel Kolenda, Peter Van Den Berg, Todd White and Dr Chauncey Crandall. Evg Bonnke and his team from Christ for All Nations (CFAN) were in Singapore for a week speaking and imparting in the School of Evangelism and the weekend conference.

The conference also saw the CFAN team and students from the Reinhard Bonnke’s School of Evangelism praying for participants at the event. There was also a healing rally on the final night of the conference open to the public. The conference was held at the Singapore Max Pavilion on October 10 – 11, 2014. Reinhard Bonnke’s School of Evangelism ran from October 6 – 9, 2014.
