The Early Church as described and recorded in the Book of Acts is renowned as a model of a vibrant community of faith. Despite hardship, the bond of unity was such that it crossed all boundaries and the people were as one. The Church grew rapidly and there was a mighty work and flow of the Holy Spirit that produced much miracle and fruits of the Spirit. Even today, that early community is still held up as a model and reflection of the power and design of God in the live of the Church as a family of believers. What distinguished the Early Church and what can we learn from them? Can today’s Church emulate the Early Church?
PVM Harvest Resources is hosting a Dr. Ajith Fernando: An Acts Conference tonight and tomorrow (28 & 29 April 2023) that will take a deep look at the lessons about community we can gain from the early Christians. The conference’s topic will center on the Marks of a Vibrant Community from the book of Acts.
