..and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing (Mal.3:10)

Christians often speak about the glory of God descending in their worship services, they say we are entering His glory or we are experiencing His glory. Do they mean that the Holy Spirit fills their churches tangibly? Or do they mean God fills them with His Holy Spirit?

The glory of God and His presence, is often used to mean the intense, tangible presence of God beyond the usual normal experience. It could be defined as the revelation of the presence of God. It could also be defined as the manifestation of His presence. He is glory. He is everywhere. When His glory comes down, it’s like Heaven’s atmosphere coming down to us, a taste of His manifest presence. You see the presence of God and the manifest presence of God are two different things. When the Glory of God starts to manifest, you bet, supernatural things starts to happen.

Your spiritual temperature can draw God’s power to move mountains for you. This obviously sets the atmosphere for open Heavens. We must understand that the finished work of the cross of Calvary is the sustaining power of victory for each one of us. This is the awesome truth that many of us fail to grasp and instead we become performance-driven instead of faith-driven. We go back under the Law trying to prove to God that we deserve to be blessed when in actual fact we are already blessed! We just need to worship and thank God for this glorious inheritance made available to us and begin to tap into this blessing.

HINDRANCE FOR GOD TO WORK

We all may display different emotional seasons at times when we are encountering various pressures in life. When darkness seems to abound, and the heavens seems to look like brass. When everything around you looks hopeless and helpless. I am sure most of us have gone through a time like this in our lives.

But the question is, do you praise God in the good times as well as the bad times?

God wants us to praise him even in the darkest of times. Not only does He want us to praise Him but He wants us to trust Him. You know what?  Anybody can ‘praise’ God in good times, but trusting Him in tough times speaks of how much faith you have in Him. David praised God in good times as well as bad times. He had his ups and downs in life but he never gave up on God (Psalms 145).

Have you ever realized that whenever we go through tough times, we allow our circumstances to overrule and dictate our mood and thus create hindrances for God to work in whatever crisis we are facing? The problem is that we don’t give God space to work in our life in such circumstances.

Obviously, if we let our problems and situations, hinder our spirit – we are thus unable to create the divine atmosphere for a miracle or a breakthrough that God wants to do in our life.

GOD DEALS WITH YOUR SPIRIT

Your spirit is the most vital part of yourself because it is this faculty that influences every other area of our life. It is when your spirit is at peace with God that you increase your spiritual temperature as you connect to God. When you are able to communicate with Him at this level every healing and restoration in your soul and body takes place.

God is concerned for you and your problems but He is waiting on you to shift your level of faith to a different level of atmosphere where the anointing to break yokes flows, so that He can work with you.

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off your shoulder, and his yoke from off your neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. “(Isaiah 10:27, KJV)

You must understand that this atmosphere that you are shifting into is not an atmosphere of “business as usual.” It is not a religious atmosphere of work performance. This is a spiritual atmosphere of extraordinary expectancy and excitement, believing for great things to happen. How do you come into this atmosphere?

Do you come expecting the Lord to show up? Do you come expecting God to move on your behalf?

Do you come because you just want to feel the presence of the Lord? Or do you come expecting God to reveal more of Himself to you and speak to your present condition?

Here is what we need to understand. We need to come into this atmosphere expecting Jesus to show up in our midst. God will meet you only at the level of your faith.

The Bible says as the people praised God – the house was filled with a cloud. They entered in with the Spirit of Worship and expected God to show up. Their expectancy was high!  They were able to draw the glory to fill the place. The Bible says, and because of the cloud ( glory) filled the place, the priests were not able to continue ministering, for the glory of the LORD filled God’s temple (2 Chro. 5:14).

We should be looking forward to the Holy Ghost taking charge of each and every area of our life and letting him have his way in this atmosphere.

We should be expecting the Lord of Glory to fill this place with His presence each and every time we gather together to lift Him up and glorify His mighty name irrespective of our circumstances (Psalm 9 King James Version (KJV))

Psalm 9:1-2

I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.

2 I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

We need to set this Atmosphere for the Supernatural to take place.

Come expecting and come with the right attitude.

Please listen! Nothing but your faith will move God. The Lord responds to our Faith.

Our Prayers don’t move God – Our Faith Does!

Our Music doesn’t move God – Our Faith Does!

Our Praise Dancing doesn’t move God – Our Faith Does!

There is a SUPERNATURAL ELEMENT THAT IS SET INTO MOTION when we come in Faith expecting something extraordinary to happen. GOD WILL RESPOND TO A PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE THAT HE IS, AND THAT HE IS A REWARDER OF THOSE THAT DILIGENTLY SEEK HIM. When we direct our faith towards God He will surprise you with extraordinary happenings. When we enter with NO LIMITATIONS we set the ATMOSPHERE IN MOTION.

God showed up in the Old Testament because the people and the musicians were “AS ONE.” God moves when our focus is solely on Him. We must remember there is no limit to what God can do with a life committed to Him in faith.

God wants your co-operation to execute His purpose and plan in your life whether it’s a healing, breakthrough or miracle.

He has already deposited for you the treasure to withdraw and do exploits and overcome to live a life that will reflect the finished work of Calvary’s cross, the abundant life.

I wonder how many of us are aware that God always does things in an atmosphere? God always moves in an atmosphere.  He manifests His presence in an atmosphere. Even Jesus needed the atmosphere to perform his miracles. The power of God was present to heal (Luke 15:17).

Therefore the atmosphere is a very important place for God to move.  Because the power of God makes all the difference for a miracle to take place. He brings healing and breakthrough in an atmosphere. When God’s power is present in an atmosphere the floodgates of heaven is opened for you and you will see miracles signs and wonders starts to manifest.

You and I are responsible to create that atmosphere.
