Denysschen)<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"segment style-scope ytd-transcript-segment-renderer\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\" aria-label=\"7 seconds the some spells out the pure happiness\">\n<div class=\"segment-start-offset style-scope ytd-transcript-segment-renderer\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-hidden=\"true\">\n<p class=\"segment-timestamp style-scope ytd-transcript-segment-renderer\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The psalm spells out the pure happiness <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">to follow as blessing for those who fear <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">the Lord and delight in His commands. It <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">does not condone any &#8220;prosperity gospel&#8221;, <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">neither does it suggest that if you are <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">righteous, you will never have exposure <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">to the hardships of life. As the psalmist <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">says, &#8220;even in darkness light dawns for <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">the upright&#8230;&#8221; (verse 4).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"segment-timestamp style-scope ytd-transcript-segment-renderer\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">This psalm spells out how the fear of the R<\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">ighteous Lord works out in the life of <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">the righteous. The message of this Psalm <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">focuses on righteousness, uprightness, and <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">justice. A righteous man will surely not <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">be easily shaken.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"segment-timestamp style-scope ytd-transcript-segment-renderer\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">It may seem on the <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">surface that the life described in the <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">psalm is unrealistic, since many true <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">believers know that their experience in <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">the real world is very often much <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">different to what they would describe as <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">a fantasy world expressed in the passage. Y<\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">et, those who fear God and obey His <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">commands do truly know that life <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">inwardly even when surrounded by <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">hostilities and painful realities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"segment-timestamp style-scope ytd-transcript-segment-renderer\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">In those days it was a general cultural <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">practice to be generous. T<\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">he benefits accruing to the righteous <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">were meant to be shared. That is where <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">the secret lay; &#8220;Good will come to those <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">who are generous&#8230;&#8221; (verse 5). The trigger <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">to unleash the blessings described here <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">lies in generosity. Let us demonstrate <\/span><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">this truth and delight in His commands.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p id=\"E1370\" class=\"qowt-stl-Heading1 x-scope qowt-word-para-0\"><strong><span id=\"E-203\" class=\"qowt-font2-TimesNewRoman\" style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Let&#8217;s Read Psalm 112<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">1 Praise the LORD.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Blessed are those who fear the LORD,<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0who find great delight in his commands.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">2 Their children will be mighty in the land;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0the generation of the upright will be blessed.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">3 Wealth and riches are in their houses,<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and their righteousness endures forever.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">4 Even in darkness light dawns for the upright,<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">5 Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely,<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0who conduct their affairs with justice.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">6 Surely the righteous will never be shaken;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0they will be remembered forever.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">7 They will have no fear of bad news;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the LORD.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">8 Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0in the end they will look in triumph on their foes.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">9 They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor,<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0their righteousness endures forever;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0their horn will be lifted high in honor.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">10 The wicked will see and be vexed,<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0they will gnash their teeth and waste away;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.<\/span><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Let&#8217;s Pray<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"segment style-scope ytd-transcript-segment-renderer\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\" aria-label=\"3 minutes, 1 second let us pray Father in heaven we call\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Father in Heaven, we call upon you to open the floodgates of blessing that we may prosper in our souls as You intended and that it will glorify Your Name.
