Every year, the event gathers Christians from various denominations for a corporate full day of praise and worship, and many have been blessed. Shamini is herself a composer. Here she shares with us a song of prayer she wrote for the corporate Church\/Body of Christ in Malaysia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\">Let Us Be Your Light<\/span><\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ewPRd0adjzw\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">&#8220;<em>Let Us Be Your Light<\/em>&#8221; this song was written in 2002. It was a song that I actually wrote for a church dedication but when the time came near I just chose another song over it. Until January 2020 this song kept coming back to me and felt that I should sing it over the church I worship now in Kajang Assembly of God (well, there is a longer story to this song). I have written some songs over the years and after 18 years I released this song that really is a song of prayer for the Church\/ Body of Christ. That we will desire God&#8217;s holiness to host His presence. That God&#8217;s river will cleanse us and His healing power will unify the church to fulfill His Word.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">This is a song from my heart to every church in my beloved nation. As we enter the month where we celebrate our National Day, may we be His light in the darkness as the Church is called to be.
