On 21st<\/sup> of May, Pastor Philip Mantofa from Mawar Sharon Church in Indonesia came to share about Jesus Christ to\u00a0more than 2100\u00a0people at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre from 61\u00a0churches across denominations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Called Jesus Festival Malaysia, this event was held by the World Harvest Church in Bandar Sunway, to bring Jesus back as the central focus for His Church in Malaysia. It all began when Pastor Albert Isaac, Senior Pastor of World Harvest Church received a vision by God in year 2014 to hold Jesus Festival in Malaysia. The next\u00a0Jesus Festival Malaysia<\/a>\u00a0will be held next year on Saturday, 20th<\/sup> May 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhether you believe in Jesus Christ or not, He\u2019s alive and He loves you. I don\u2019t own this bread<\/em>, who is Jesus Christ. But I am only a consumer of the bread<\/em>. And I\u2019m telling you that this bread<\/em> is available. If you open your heart, your life will never the same,” said Pastor Philip Mantofa.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then Jesus declared, \u201cI am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.\u201d (John 6:35)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cI hate public speaking but I did it. Seriously, if you asked my mum and dad, they know me best. I dread speaking to five people, what more one hundred thousand people?<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBut I got to speak up; I cannot be selfish. I have to tell people how to find the way to Heaven. Jesus is the way to Heaven.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus answered, \u201cI am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.\u201d (John 14:6)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cIf you are looking for religion, then stay in your religion. But a relationship with God the Father is only possible through the sinless lamb, Jesus Christ.<\/strong> Jesus Christ is my best friend.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Many people believe that Jesus is only a prophet. Some even throw insults and mock Jesus for dying on the cross. Stripped naked and hung on the cross, Jesus is\u00a0considered\u00a0too weak to be a God. Even the criminal hung beside Him, mocked Him during His time of crucifixion.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cCome on people, you need to change. But still, people have not changed. They still mock Jesus. \u2018Jesus, if You are so strong, why don\u2019t you come down from the cross and save us? (Matthew 27:40)\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, \u201cWho do you say the Son of Man is?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

They replied, \u201cSome say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBut what about you?\u201d he (Jesus) asked. \u201cWho do you say I am?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Simon Peter answered, \u201cYou are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God.<\/strong>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus replied, \u201cBlessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh or blood, but by my Father in heaven.<\/strong>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDo you know why Jesus had to come? That\u2019s because humans cannot save other humans. You try to save someone? It will be the blind leading the blind, both will fall (Matthew 15:14).<\/span><\/p>\n

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cWhat are you saying? Christian God is weak? So, you want a mighty God? If you meet His Holiness and Majesty, you are going to drop dead in a millionth of a second and be thrown alive into the hell of fire. If a mighty God is all you want, then prepare for hell.<\/span><\/p>\n

“But God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). How can God have a son? In our carnal minds, we perceive that sons can only come from sex and procreation.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen God says that He has a Son, He is talking about a realm that you and I do not know \u2013 the fullness<\/em> of one God that no philosophy and tradition can contain. If you have not given your life to Christ, even if you claim to be a Christian, your life is like a zombie.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it in all its fullness<\/em><\/strong> (John 10:10)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Jesus says, \u201cI am the gate. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture\u201d (John 10:9). <\/span><\/p>\n

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13)<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Would you like to call upon the name of the LORD Jesus Christ today, to have a relationship with God the Father, and eternal life with God in Heaven?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Jesus Christ, I believe that You have died on the cross for me, so that I will not perish but have eternal life in You. Jesus Christ, I believe that on the third day after You died on the cross, you rose again and is now seated at the right hand side of the Father in Heaven. I ask You to come into my life now and be the Lord over my life. I ask that the Holy Spirit will give me understanding in all things from this day forward. I pray all this in Jesus name. Amen.<\/em><\/p>\n

ABOUT JESUS FESTIVAL |\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>Jesus Festival is a celebration of who Jesus is, what He has done and who we are in Him. As the name of Jesus is lifted up, all are drawn to Him through encounters and experiences coming from His presence. In His presence and through the Word revealed, lives are changed, transformed and restored, and we become reflectors of His glory. It\u2019s all about Jesus.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus Festival\u00a0began in 2012 in Manila, Philippines. Since then, it is being held once a year in various parts of the world. Three conferences are held yearly in the\u00a0Philippines in three cities: Manila, Baguio City and\u00a0Tacloban\u00a0City. One conference is held yearly in\u00a0Malaysia\u00a0and\u00a0in Hong Kong.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus Festival Malaysia began in 2014 as God spoke to Pastor Albert Isaac, Senior Pastor of World Harvest Church \u00a0Malaysia to bring the body of Christ together to celebrate and lift up none other than Jesus alone. Jesus said, “If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto Me.”<\/span><\/p>\n

People responded to the preaching of the Word; healings and salvations took place\u00a0and God\u2019s glory filled the atmosphere. Jesus Festival is all about Jesus and our desire is for the lives of people to be forever changed by the Gospel and that we become the living demonstration of Jesus in all spheres of society.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
