Facing hard times? An all-sufficient God is able to meet all our needs. We need to\u00a0affirm and\u00a0declare this truth.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Lord, I thank you that you promise to supply all our needs\u00a0(1<\/strong>).\u00a0I trust in your provision for my physical needs. I agree that without faith it is impossible to please you\u00a0(2<\/strong>).<\/span><\/p>\n

I am grateful that sometimes you even choose to bless me exceedingly above all I can ask, conceive or imagine\u00a0(3<\/strong>).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Why should I look with envy at those who are filthy rich\u00a0(4<\/strong>)? Those who live solely for their own desires do not know your peace and presence. I don\u2019t want to compare what you have blessed me with what they have.<\/span><\/p>\n

For I know that, when you bless, there is no accompanying sorrow\u00a0(5<\/strong>).The righteous may have relatively little. But, in your eyes, it is better than the abundance of the wicked\u00a0(6<\/strong>).<\/span><\/p>\n

Like a weaned child resting against his mother, I am composed and still\u00a0(7<\/strong>).\u00a0\u00a0I am contented\u00a0(8<\/strong>).<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet, your Word tells us there is the other side of the coin to consider. Faith alone is not enough.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You teach us to observe the industrious ant\u2014how we need to\u00a0work hard\u00a0and\u00a0plan\u00a0(9<\/strong>).\u00a0You also instruct us to learn from the life of Joseph\u2014how he stored grain in times of\u00a0plenty. And his family and a nation were saved during\u00a0famine.<\/span><\/p>\n

By aligning my thoughts with your wisdom and living by its dictates, I can enjoy the blessings of peace, contentment and financial security.<\/span><\/p>\n

As I\u00a0meditate<\/strong>\u00a0on the above, I assimilate\u00a0your wisdom\u00a0into my life\u00a0(10<\/strong>).\u00a0It becomes a part of me. I know I will live to see your faithfulness. And, because of your blessings, I will be able to declare your goodness to others.<\/span><\/p>\n

(6) \u201cIt is better to be godly and have little than to be evil and rich\u201d (Psalm 37:16).<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

(7) \u201cSurely I have composed and quieted my soul. Like a weaned child rests against his mother, my soul is like a weaned child within me\u201d (Psalm 131:2).<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u00a0(8)\u00a0\u201c<\/sup>I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry,\u00a0whether living in plenty or in want\u201d (Philippians 4:12).<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

(10) \u201cDo not let this Book of the Law\u00a0depart from your mouth;\u00a0meditate\u00a0on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful\u201d (Joshua 1:8).<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
