\n\tGrowing up for the past 10 years as a Christian has led me to enjoy the presence of God in many ways. Being in His presence just gives me the security knowing that I am not alone and that His grace, His mercy and love is sufficient day in and day out as long as we walk with Him. <\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tIn my victories, He was there. In my defeat, He was there. In my brokeness, He was there. What a God we serve and worship. Who He is and what He has done and still does, should be something we should never forget. This is something that the previous generation and the current one has done well to impart not only in my life but also the people from around the world. We are so blessed for ministries like Passion, Hillsong, True Worshipers, etc (to name a few) for teaching us to love and draw near to the Father, whether in corporate or personal worship, and for that I am challenged to do the same for the next generation.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tRaise was written with the simplicity of reminding us why God deserves our worship, challenging worshippers to express not only in words but in action and believe for a better tomorrow, whether it's personal or not, reminding us that above all God is to be worshipped just like how the generations before me had always worship God. <\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tThe verses in Psalms 145: 4 – 7<\/strong>, sums up why I wrote this song.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\t\t4 <\/sup><\/strong>One generation commends your works to another;
\n\t\t    they tell of your mighty acts.
\n\t\t5 <\/sup><\/strong>They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty—
\n\t\t    and I will meditate on your wonderful works.
\n\t\t6 <\/sup><\/strong>They tell of the power of your awesome works—
\n\t\t    and I will proclaim your great deeds.
\n\t\t7 <\/sup><\/strong>They celebrate your abundant goodness
\n\t\t    and joyfully sing of your righteousness.<\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n\tWorshiping God must be from glory to glory, so why not raise our worship to another level for generations to come so they know just how awesome our God is.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
